They will do whatever is necessary for him to retain his seat and appear fully capable of responding....I understand why they do but they could at least make it sound like him...it doesn’t. He will not recover from the normal trajectory this disease he has takes.

McCain had a brief love affair with the Syrian “good rebels”.
They were good to McCain, and treated him with respect, and he really ate that up.
In reality, the Syrian “good rebels” are reputed to be Taliban like, and maybe even include some Taliban. They are not likely to be a reliable, good ally to the US.
