Trump Tweet: Never said when an attack on Syria would take place...

Never said when an attack on Syria would take place. Could be very soon or not so soon at all! In any event, the United States, under my Administration, has done a great job of ridding the region of ISIS. Where is our “Thank you America?”

Nope, the prevailing wisdom is incorrect. We own the view of the air in Syria. We know everything that goes airborne, where it goes and where it lands. That is how we determined the gas attack a year ago. Which came first, the gas attack or the T-4 raid?

Remember POTUS said he wanted to get out of Syria. I believe he announced that to see what Deep State would do next.

He got his confirmation of what he probably knew.

If he was going to hit Syria, he would have done so before now.

I hope people notice the total barrage of flak coming at Trump right now. There is a reason for it.

Whether Assad did it or not,

Trump is giving olive branch to Russia in general. With regard to ALL their behavior, not just in Syria. And even if there were an attack — the U.S. and Russian militaries are in constant communication with each other.

The only time there was a breach was when U.S. inadvertently killed a bunch of Russian mercenaries/private contractors — who are not official military, and whose presence is concealed even to the Russian public — until info leaked about huge death tolls.

Russia’a doing way worse things than supporting Assad. They have made our efforts with North Korea more difficult as well by lending support to Kim.

They have also undermined our efforts in remote places such as our sanctions on Venezuela, our hopes of scrubbing nuke deal with Iran, and Russia has been making Israel’s life miserable as well because of Iran. Despite how many Russian Jews live in Israel...I might add....

The mess the Kremlin perpetuates in East Ukraine gets almost no air time, and there, its their own Slavic brothers and sisters who have died...by the thousands.

And it’s ther most egregious move of all because its by design meant to destabilize Europe and block Ukraine’s capacity to meaningfully connect to greater Europe in the future.

Russia holds other countries back, including their own neighbors, nd in doing so - hold back their own.

Their ruble collapsed this week.
Their oligarchs are sanctioned.
And they have a World Cup around the corner.

They’ve spent more air time these past few years bagging on America more than ISIS. And they are allied with the most anti-Semitic powers in the Middle East: Syria, Turkey, Iran.

Even Saudi Arabia is behaving more civilized than those powers right now.

Anyways. While Putin is driving his counntry into a hole. Trump and by proxy, America, despite all our dcomestic hubbub is lifting pretty much the whole world up.

Whether its facing Putin’s childish antics to destabilize free world or China’s greedy attempts to dominate the global economy. Our leadership has a handle on it.

Be grateful.

He said for years we should never attack Syria and said last week we would leave Syria very soon.

Then Jaish al Islam does a false flag and the Press Sec yesterday would not rule out us attacking Russian forces in Syria.

We need to adhere to what Trump said for years and as recently as last Friday. We need to leave Syria.

You have to connect A to B to C. Syria is not the only thing Trump is facing now. Trump sent a clear message - back me into a corner and you die. Maybe we all die. But you die.

This isn’t about Syria. This is about the deep state that thinks they are going to shoulder him out of the White House. His supporters ought to be celebrating his strength and tenacity

You should post that as a thread. Everybody needs to read it before we rush off to war.

You got that right. Brian Kilmeade excels at stabbing conservatives in the back. That two-faced worm is the main reason I cannot stand Fox and Friends.

“Thank God.”

Amen. I have a few things that I need to get done before the Neocons start exchanging cities with Russia.

Sad. Really sad. He now has second thoughts about his boast to Russia that definitely “missiles ARE coming” - publicly telescoping definite actions that ARE GOING TO BE TAKEN ahead of time. Now Russia, Iran and Assad are being given all this time to prepare. I thought it was dumb when Trump tweeted his boast, and sense he feels his error and now seeks some public absolution for it. Sad, really sad.

His worse fault is he does not like to keep his mouth shut when he should.

Was this another false flag event to get us involved again in the middle east and in Syria?

Thanks, looking forward to your reply.

I am sick of being the world’s police. We are stuck with hundreds of treaties to go to war on behalf of half the countries in the world. Pack up. End it. They are going to kill each other regardless. America first. Secure the borders!

Exactly. We need to get our own house in order first before we can even THINK about involving ourselves in the affairs of other countries. And once we've thought about it we'll realize that we have damn little reason to involve ourselves at all.

“Does Trump realize he is being manipulated”

This.

And I’m sure he is angered by it.

The UN attempted such an investigation - and Russia vetoed the effort. Gee, I wonder why Putin wants no investigation into a chemical weapons attack?

I wonder why an “ex” KGB colonel is opposed to searching for the truth of the matter in gassing civilians?

My guess is that Putin supplied the chemical weapons to Assad, just like he supplied chemical and nuclear weapons materials to Saddam Hussein, then having the same transported into Syria just days before the U.S. invaded Iraq. AND just as he provided nuclear weapons technology to Iran.

Anybody here who thinks Russia is a “democracy” is smoking crack. Putin, and his Gasprom oligarchs are still the same bunch of filthy commie bastards that ran the “old” Soviet Union - but perhaps these thugs are more dangerous now than when they were the USSR.
