President Donald Trump signed an executive order Tuesday that aims to add and strengthen work requirements for public assistance and other welfare programs.
THIS is the sort of thing I voted for.
If you’ve seen my posts you know I’m fully pro-Trump and MAGA. And for good measures Pro and member of the NRA:-)
Maybe we could give them a Trump Phone and make them call able bodied welfare recipients and tell them of their upcoming Work assignments:-)
No drugs, alcohol, gambling, no cable/sat. tv. Mandatory counseling. Perhaps a lights out/curfew.... Make it so they want to get out and fend for themselves and reap the benefits of liberty.
Trump’s order essentially does the same thing as Bill Clinton’s workfare reforms did in 1994. Just goes to show how far the democrat party has gone to the wack job left since then.

I think I remember your posts about Trump NOT building the wall and the 1.3T bill, had to re-check my suspicions from your previous posts.
Sometimes my Trump hater freeper radar goes on full effect but you were one of the many who started to bitch like a little girl about Trump signing that bill and mocking him about the wall and you claim to be pro Trump 100%?? LOL

Look, I like the things Trump ran on. But I an not a cool aid drinker like 0bama supporters are. Trump as much admitted he was foregoing the building of the wall with the budget he signed. His solution is to send the national guard to the border. That will helpnsome, but its no wall.
Why? What is a wall for you? Maybe you havent heard he cannot just EO the damn wall because his surrounded by enemies within the party and everywhere, including A backstabbing Congress who wont hand over the money.

No, it doesnt just come down to wall. The other things you mention are great. I give credit where credit is due.
But I felt he caved on the wall. He should have vetoed that damned bill. If congress overrode it, then so be it. Its on congress....The wall is not a small issue. It is one of his main themes he ran on. He has to fight for it.
If you were able to read the notes or following articles a day after he signed the bill, there were poison clauses about funding. As an example, Planned Parenthood will only get funding THRU the OMB, which is held by Trump loyalists.
There was a reason why Trump sent the infamous letter to Paul Ryan, which may be the reason why he needed to retire NOW. In it, it summed up a subtle summary that “you may have stabbed me in the back but I got you”.

It’s better than giving them money while they sit at home and drink and get stoned and have a dozen out-of-wedlock children who become future welfare recipients.
