Yes, she is. She’s from a VERY prominent Dem Family in the area.

It’s obvious Ryan has been, ‘faking it’ for a very long time.

That’s because he’ll be running for president to challenge Trump.

So that Biden can make mincemeat of him yet again in a debate?

I'd love to see it!

I’m glad that Ryan isn’t running. He’s been in Congress since 1999, so he shouldn’t have run in 2004. I hope that ex-Sheriff David Clarke will run for his seat and that Gov. Walker will run for the U.S. Senate.

“Hugh Hewitt was very saddened about this. He said he’s probably tired of carrying Trump’s water for him.”

Carrying trumps water?!!! Ryno i has done everything he could to stop Trump’s agenda from going forward. I am so sick of all the Republicans in Congress. Has there even been one that has backedTrump consistently? Where has Cruz been?

all of my representatives from Tennessee are worthless. I’m planning on not voting for any of them. I will try to vote them out in the primary, and then I will abstain if they are the Republican running. They are just Democrats and Republicans clothing.

And if anybody wants to complain, tell me how this Republican Congress has helped us in the least? I am tired of voting for evil. Whether it is lesser or not.

The only way we are going to get conservatives in is 1. A revolution or 2.. Quit voting Liberal Republicans in, and eventually conservative Republicans might start running. The party might change at that point. Doubtful, I think number one is the only option.

Unless it is someone worse. It’s hard to imagine, but Republicans have been incredibly stupid before. They usually are actually.

My condolences that Ryan will be moving back to Wisconsin. I hope you can avoid him. :-)

Seems that the GOP knows the midterms will be brutal.

“Isn’t his wife a liberal? How does that work in a marriage?”

it wouldn’t work in my marriage, that’s for sure. I think it just shows that Ryan is not conservative.

A friend was asking me if I thought my liberal neighbor’s husband was also liberal . I told her he had to be! This woman yelled at me for not being a socialist when we were hiking. And all I said was we quit working to avoid paying into the fascist system we have. And I explained how socialized Social Security is, that if my husband keeps paying in he will get maybe 2 cents on the dollar back. If even that. The high earners are getting screwed.

Anyway, if that’s enough to cause her to yell at me and destroy my ever taking her hiking again, I can imagine her husband has no chance. He had to turn liberal.

There goes the last voice for entitlement reform in Washington. I hope all the Ryan-bashers will be happy when we start seeing Greek-style austerity measures in 10 years.

The rumors ARE true - just heard on the FOX radio top-of-the-hour broadcast that he’ll not run again - but will hold on to his speaker gig until he retires in January, 2019.

He wants to spend more time with his family. ;) Which may be true, and he’s been in politics for 20 years already and has a sweet pension and a rich wife.

People on local talk radio are still enamored with him, which I don’t get. I have friends that are good friends with him and have worked on his campaigns and they really adore the guy.

*SHRUG*

“I hope that ex-Sheriff David Clarke will run for his seat...”

Sadly, Clarke wouldn’t hold a ‘snowflake’s chance’ in that solidly Dem district...which tells you a lot about how Ryan managed to hang on all those years.

I hope I’m wrong. :)

Good point!

This moron lost a debate to JOE BIDEN!

Joe’s nickname was “slow Joe” in the Senate because he was SO STUPID.
