Syria MISSILE STRIKE 'within hours': Eastern Mediterranean on ALERT for 'possible launch'
Daily Express ^ | 4/10/2018 | Joey Millar

A coalition force could fire “air-to-ground or cruise missiles” in the wake of a horrifying chemical attack on innocent civilians in Syria last week.

Aviation experts AirLive have reported this evening a “rapid alert notification” warning aircraft in the eastern Mediterranean to be wary of a sudden missile strike.

AirLive said the alert was issued by Eurocontrol this evening for a “possible launch … within the next 72 hours”.

AirLive said: “According to reports, British forces are mobilising at their bases in Cyprus and Rafale fighter jets could takeoff from St Dizier airbase in France for possible strikes against Syria.”

The Barbary pirates action was of limited duration and purpose. It wasn’t an endless commitment to be the policeman and mad bomber of the world.

Some people surmise that pasties = empanadas. Some people wear them as very abbreviated clothing. Yankees = mystery.

I said the same thing a year ago on a thread that attracted all kinds of criticism, but in the days afterward it became clear that it was all just for show and was designed to be an ineffective strike.

I predict that any target of a U.S. military strike in Syria will meet one of the following conditions:

1. It will be symbolic at best, and will be reconstructed within a week.

2. It will be a useless building that nobody wants anyway -- making it Phase 1 (demolition) of an urban renewal project.

Deep state loves killing and senseless slaughter.

They would be pleased to see a USN shop get hit.

Don’t ya know... when children are slaughtered in Syria by bad guys, we respond by slaughtering more children in Syria.

Sheer genius, right?!

Tell me again who authorized WW3? Heck, do we even have hard evidence that Daesh didn’t chlorine gas their own people?

If you tell me you’re coming, you won’t catch me with my pants down.

Pardon my facetiousness, but this headline isn’t war, this is PSYOPS.

And if this is how the “coalition” prosecutes offensive strikes, it’s no different than a strike on a baby formula factory, throwing the entire premise of the so-called “chemical attack” into question.

A handful of people in Syria civil war is worth the fathers and sons of Americans killed for no good reason. Enough of this crap!

Good job America. I only wish that those jackasses in DC had their families tied up in the rotten end of the coming mess they have created for greed’s sake.

It wasn’t an endless commitment ...

The very definition of a responsive missile strike...no boots on the ground needed. Just make the point, again a year later, in a way that Assad will remember for awhile.

“Deep State seeking to prevent Trump pull out.”

Yup! You nailed it. They can not allow for peace and the loss of distractions. How else would we miss all of the waste and gov. over reach/abuse. Endless war is more entertaining and profitable for the cronies.

Agree 100%

If they are so dam committed for a bunch of worthless Jihadists, they they should put their sons and daughters, extended family and friends on the front lines.

It seems entirely appropriate to me, actually.

A staged, phony missile strike in response to a staged, phony chemical attack.

might as well do it over a desert instead of where Russia is moving unmarked tanks into the Ukraine sparking attention into altercations in Europe.

“Why is Russia transferring armored vehicles with wiped out board numbers to the boarder?”

The lesson being taught that I'm afraid of is people learning that they can prevent America leaving the quaqmire by faking Assad's responsibility for a chemical attack.

French president #Macron has put fighter jets currently based at the Saint-Dizier – Robinson Air Base on alert in preparation for any needed participation for airstrikes on #Syria.

If we hit something Russian, what would stop some destroyer from lobbing a cruise missile into Portland ME, or Seattle?
