Untreated, assuming a 125gr hollow point, he would have eventually bed out...even shot in the foot.

Anywhere else...more solid parts of the body...he would have bled out before he got to a hospital.

Never underestimate the power of a .357. It’s the historically best man killer in the history of FBI record keeping.

99% one shot stops. 80+% fatalities. 60 years of data.

At that distance, most modern pistol rounds will penetrate the human body. Whether it’s a .357 magnum or .356 (9mm), makes no difference.

Which is why the ‘would-be buyer’ should get to the range more often.

Although, I can’t say I wouldn’t be shaking if some ‘Johnterious’ pulled a gun on me. But then again, I wouldn’t be buying an obviously-stolen iPhone.

Too bad there isn’t a happy ending here.

I hand load my carry 125 grainers at about 1200fps. More your my comfort than yours.
