Never supported Cruz. In fact thought Cruz made a fool of himself in his “victory” speech after he won the Iowa primary. Kinda liked Trump during the primaries because he had the guts to tell the other candidates, including Hillary what he thought of them right to their faces. These politicians like to make snide comments behind each others backs and if confronted deny what they said like wimps. Despite his sketchy business record, immoral (from my perspective) marital and sexual behavior, and his braggadocio, voted for him in both the primary and the general election. There was no way to vote for the vile criminal Clinton. It was my fervent hope that he would not only take off the Democratic shackles on the economy, enforce immigration and border security but hold the criminal Obama and his commissars at FBI,CIA,NSA Justice and State accountable for their crimes. He has shown that he is incapable of countering the ferocious resistance to him in the swamp and the MSM. His appointments such as Sessions have nearly crippled any chance of achieving his agenda. The fact that he tweets extensively but did not read that omnibus bill or know that Democratic staffers had succeeded in encoding the Democratic agenda was the last straw. He betrayed the people who come out of nowhere to support him with the hope of change with that signing. The vile Democrats will probably win the Congress now in 2018 and retake the WH in 2020. Sickening and incredibly harmful to the country. Look hope my analysis is wrong and somehow by objective conservative criteria Trump ends up “winning”. Nevertheless this lifelong conservative Republican no longer trusts Trump.

We need more one term dogs like Trump. He stopped us from getting into TPP and is in the process of renegotiating NAFTA. He got us out of the Paris Climate Accord and approved the Keystone XL pipeline and drilling in ANWR. Trump is enforcing our immigration laws and ended the DACA program no matter what a few federal judges have ruled. SCOTUS will overrule them.
Signing the Omnibus bill was not without some victories. Lifting the sequestration cap on military spending will help rebuild a hollowed out military. Trump moved our Embassy to Jerusalem and he has confronted NK's nuclear program like no President before him. He has moved to protect the American worker going after trade practices that give our competitors an unfair advantage. Trump passed a tax reform that make this country more welcoming for investment and more competitive and welcoming in terms of trade and investment. It also puts more money in the pockets of 90% of Americans.
All of this and much more in 15 months. And Trump is fighting Deep State, the MSM, the Dems, RINOs and #NeverTrumpers. He is the victim of a witch hunt and has been subjected to the weaponizing of the Intel community that monitored his campaign and transition teams as well as during the initial months of his Presidency. The FBI and DOJ are being cleansed of corrupt leadership.
Every day I wake up with a smile on my face knowing that Hillary is not in the WH. Trump was the only Rep who could have defeated her. On balance, Trump is the most conservative President since Reagan. Consider his actions to evaluate his performance along with the milieu he has to operate in. I give him an A+.
