I think it’s all pretty stupid discussion. Even if Trump were to try to do that, I guarantee the courts would put a stop to it before he could even finish his announcement. In my opinion Trump screwed up by not fighting for it now, making it harder for him to accomplish this key campaign promise.

Trump’s base, and I suspect even the majority of fence-sitters, would be supportive of him if he announced his decision to have the military build the fence, and simply ignored any court that tried to stop him. It’s time he invoked the separation-of-powers doctrine and defied the roadblocks thrown in his way by the other two branches. It’s way passed the time for a head-to-head constitutional showdown on the obstruction of the President’s executive authority by the judicial and legislative branches.
I’ll bet against you re the courts. They’ll be nothing but white noise and need to big ignored.
A little time spent perusing the Constitution will clear it all up for you.
The WALL is a matter of NATIONAL SECURITY and therefore CAN be put into effect by the Pentagon, the courts CAN NOT do a thing about funds for national security that IS ENTIRELY up to POTUS discretion!!! Schumer can go SCREW himself!!!!

The Courts have little to say about the military. Has a court decision ever stopped a military operation or project.
