That picture reminds me of my school days. The idea of using a cuss word or disrespecting the teacher was beyond our conception. We didn't even know the cuss words let alone use them.

That picture is so sweet, yet stings me so much, when I realize what we've lost.

Yep. And had Norman Rockwell painted the back of the classroom, you’d see .22 rifles in the corner. The teacher would have a little box of .22 in her desk. Thats what it was like circa 1955 in North Arkansas.
