"Slaughter Station" - a fitting memorial to a woman who, as co-chair of the Congressional Pro-Choice Caucus, enabled the slaughter of millions of unborn babies over many years.

Why don’t they ‘deem’ it to be renamed without actually changing the signage?

Slaughter was in favor of such cowardly tactics. It would be a fitting memorial of shame.

Hmmm, I wonder how a Jewish person would feel coming off of a train with a sign that says “Slaughter” on it?

Now can we rename Amtrak to the “Welfare Express”??

Well, over time Pres Trump will be replacing Amtrak’s board members as their terms expire. Personally, I would never name another thing after a politician (except maybe some public toilets). We have hundreds of thousands of KIA service-members going back through our Nation’s wars who should be honored long before any hack politician.

I’ve been to that station.

This is not a compliment.

I propose a moratorium on naming public buildings or places after politicians, dead or alive.

With Amtrak’s safety record as of late, I would think that “Slaughter Station” would be a fitting choice.

Meanwhile, Amtrak’s NYC to Buffalo route is still as slow as molasses. It’s rarely on time, and usually 1-3 hours late. By the time you arrive, the bathrooms stink.

In the state park near where I live, Andy Cuomo has had them put up little signs near each entrance with his name on them.

These are new. No governor before Andy has done it, although his father made sure his name was on bronze plaques that are next to the main door of every rest stop on the Thruway.

But Andy’s signs are free-standing, on poles. They do not serve to commemorate any building or structure that was erected with money allocated by him. They are just ... there. They just ensure that everyone who enters the park knows who the governor is.

I bet they come down the next time there’s a Republican governor, if that ever happens again.

When I think of Louise! I think of the pothole filled Lake Ontario State Parkway. it was the only road that connected her former district and it was and still is a total mess.

“Slaughter Station.” Maybe Planned Butcherhood can set up a branch office there.
