John Oliver took a week off from breaking down President Donald Trump's latest outrages by focusing his fire on Vice President Mike Pence and his ultra-conservative views.
The Last Week Tonight host began by describing Pence as an "ashen weasel," which he called the "opposite of whatever a silver fox is,” and then ran through his public statements on issues such as abortion rights, homosexuality, same-sex marriage, gays in the military and even women in the military — all of which fell towards the more extreme, conservative end of the spectrum.
Oliver reminded the audience that Pence is the only person Trump can't fire and could become president by default. He joked that former White House advisor Omarosa Manigault Newman was right when she warned fellow contestants in the Celebrity Big Brother house that “as bad as y'all think Trump is, you would be worried about Pence."
Oliver then focused on Pence's views on homosexuality in particular and his continued association with controversial groups that back gay conversion therapy, like James Dobson's Focus on the Family.
It wasn't all negative though, Oliver admitted that "objectively" the Pence family picked a great name for their pet rabbit. Marlon Bundo has become something of a celebrity since he arrived at the White House, and this week saw the release of a children's book of his adventures written by Pence's daughter Charlotte and illustrated by his wife, Karen, titled Marlon Bundo's Day in the Life of the Vice President.
In an effort to blunt the potential success of the Pences' book — but also to highlight the vice president's extreme views — Oliver unexpectedly announced the release of his own book, available immediately via PDF, titled A Day In The Life Of Marlon Bundo which tells the story of a White House rabbit

The hatred for Pence has only begun. They are storing up things to hate about him while they obsess about impeaching Trump.
Who’s final destination would one rather end up at? Where Pence will land or the slandering godless bigmouths?
Well John whoever you are, God says that homosexual behavior is an abomination. Maybe you can mock Him at your judgment.
The churches threw away morals so as to keep homosexuals contributions coming in.
Can’t take moral stands and ask freaks for their money now can we?
And here another kick in the crotch, Oliver’s version is outselling Pence’s.
Doesn’t everyone look to Hollywood for advice on Virtue and Morality?

The so-called “entertainment” industry has a lot of hate filled sickos.

“So when will that follow up book be coming out? The one where soon after they get married things go downhill and it leads to Wesley and Marlon beating the Sh!t out of each other quite often, kinda like what happens in real life homosexual relations frequently.
Would be nice for Oliver to highlight actual problems but instead he feels the need to lambast people for having the f**king audacity of having the opinion that marriage is between a man and a woman.”
No morally and mentally sane country would tolerate the vile concoctions from the pervert agenda that the US does. But are there any sane countries left?

I got so worked up over this I literally just bought the book off amazon. Took Ben Shapiro’s advice.

Nothing. They mock your statement as much as they mock Pence. You need to threaten them with pain and suffering on this world to make a dent in their thick heads.
If you feel a sense of satisfaction saying that, so be it, but to these people, you are a rube.
John Oliver is a parody.

Mike Pence is the type of guy Christian mothers dream for their daughters, but these days, there are few and far between.
I’m a little surprised Oliver was able to use a title so similar to Pence’s, but, regardless, we all know which book the kids in heaven are reading.
