I worked there for several years. Magnificent little town in the hills overlooking the Santa Clara Valley. Filled to the brim with left wing lunatics; utterly lost.

First lesson learned.

Next up:
1) Law - The 2nd amendment and why it’s important

2) Statistics - specifically gun vs. other unnatural causes of death.

3) History - Brutal history of the Leftists, a deep dive into the recurring disasters of socialism, communism and progressive politics. A deep dive into their methods, propaganda and tactics.

4) Firearms - Gun safety, general firearm knowledge (types of firearms, kinds of action, calibers, common use, etc.), value of firearm ownership to individuals and society overall. This course includes a field trip to a local gun range.

5) Political Science / Social studies - An advanced course dealing with restriction of lawful firearm ownership. This is a deep dive into policy effected by governing bodies that evaluates the stated intent, data pro/con to validate the need, explores data presenting policy outcomes vs. a control group and requires student to deliver a fact based argument assessing the impact pro/con of the policy. Students will be required to gather substantive facts in support of opinions, use critical thinking skills, rely on fact vs. emotion, use sound judgment and be prepared to argue their final work. Public policy examples that may be discussed in class:

-Firearm design restrictions: limiting firearm or magazine capacity, restricting use of a pistol grip, silencer, or mandating a design changes that impair normal function, efficiency or ease of use

-Personal restrictions: age, specific taxation/fees assessed on the purchase and/or ownership of firearms and/or ammunition. Policy restricting concealed carry, including that of variation by governing authority.

-Society: Gun free zones, Examination of policy applied in response to a high visibility gun tragedy vs. recurring low visibility tragedies (Chicago), Examination of how/if gun policy affects intended populations (criminals) vs. general population of lawful/safe gun owners.

Lastly, there should be a class on safe boating as a disproportionate amount of firearms are tragically lost each day in our rivers, lakes and the ocean.

We need more teachers like this, and fewer people like the nitwit father and daughter astroturf tag team. Thanks artichokegrower.
