Thank God we did not water board him.
That would be a war crime.

I didn’t think that you could use .50 caliber against combatants, just equipment and structures!(Geneva Convention?)

So....that means the sniper was actually aiming at his hat, right? Or the maybe the wall behind him and happened to miss? Was ISIS guy wearing a canteen on his head? Trying to help here before the World Court in Belgium hears about this!

What do you suppose was the last thing that went through the terrorist's mind, before he croaked?

I think this happened about a year ago but nevertheless, I love a happy ending.

Huge changes going on in the Middle East.

Remember when during the campaign President Trump said that with regard to military action, he would never announce in advance what we will do?

Prepare to be surprised with the final outcome. And shocked.

Sea level works out to about 1463 fps but everything in that vicinity is well above sea level, so it would have been faster still.

About two and a half ounces of lead and copper...

I have a 50 caliber round here and measured it for length and it is 5.5 inches, man that is a load.

Can you imagine being shot at with a 50 cal. machine gun? WOW!

What magnification must his scope have, and how thin the reticle to not totally obscure a man-size target (head-size!) from a mile away!!

I have often wondered if a shot like that missed but went past the target’s ear by 2-3” what would he think, then? Would he consider a new career? Would it have cleaned his ear or ruptured his eardrum?
