Since the seat is temporary and is only good thru the end of the year and the real election is in November, I probably wouldn’t have wasted my time voting.........I suspect others thought the same.
That does raise an important side issue...why have an election this close to the fall election, and for a district that goes away. That will mitigate the damage in this specific race. Concern is why they let this slip through their fingers.
