Australia considers visas for white South African farmers
BBC ^ | 14 March, 2018 | BBC

South Africa has dismissed allegations its white farmers are "persecuted" after an Australian minister said they needed help from a "civilised" country.

Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton said he was exploring giving South Africa's white farmers access to fast-track visas on humanitarian grounds.

The suggestion was made amid calls to transfer land ownership from white to black farmers in South Africa, and fears over the number of farm killings.

But South Africa says it is ridiculous.

Government spokesman Ndivhuwo Mabaya told the BBC there was no reason for any country in the world to suspect a section of the South African population was in danger from its democratically elected leaders.

"There's no need for anyone to be scared or to fear anything," he said. "The land redistribution programme will be done according to the law. We want to say to our friends across the world that there's no need to panic."

He concluded: "We remain a united nation here in South Africa - both black and white."

Mr Dutton had earlier told reporters in Australia South Africa's white farmers needed help "from a civilised country like ours".

"If you look at the footage and read the stories, you hear the accounts, it's a horrific circumstance they face," he said.

Mr Dutton added: "We want people who want to come here, abide by our laws, integrate into our society, work hard, not lead a life on welfare. And I think these people deserve special attention and we're certainly applying that special attention now."

In response, South Africa's foreign ministry said it regretted "the Australian government chose not to use

The U.S. should step up to the plate for these immigrants. For 50 years we have given preferences to third world immigrants.

They should take them.

Both Countries drive on the wrong side of the Street, so the learning curve is reduced substantially.

I would think we could find some space for hardworking, self-sustaining people who wouldn't be a drain on the public purse.

Agreed. These are people who would at least work, avoid breaking the law, be patriotic, support the military, pay their taxes, etc.

And that’s exactly why they’ll never get here.

However, the BBC found in November that it was difficult to prove with statistics that white farmers were more likely to be murdered than black farmers.

LOL! Sometimes ya gotta wonder if even the BBC believes their own BS.

Afrikaners/Boers should be brought to America instead of Australia.

Here they can own guns.

That's easy, just quit keeping the stats:

“The statistics are not kept by race,” De Beer told Africa Check, “as race is not necessarily mentioned in the incident reports received from the stations.”

The last analysis of farm attack victims by race was conducted in the early 2000s. In 2001, the police’s Crime Information Analysis Centre revealed that of the 1,398 people attacked on farms, 61.6% were white, 33.3% were black, 4.4% were Asian and 0.7% were listed as “other”.

This data is now more than 15 years old and should not be assumed to be representative of the current situation."

So the fact the expropriation without compensation will proceed “according to law” is supposed to make it all better?

There are enormous sections of Australia that could be made into arable farmland. In past, Australia has considered enormous solar desalinization projects, but with recent advances in nanotechnology it could be made very practical.

In any event, these experienced SA farmers would quickly go to work in “agricultural enclaves” mostly producing very high value agriculture for export, so as not to run afoul of the existing Australian agribusiness.

Since the premium ingredient for this is fresh water, much of their business would be in organic hydroponic greenhouses. They could even be “extra green” by consuming waste carbon dioxide to enhance plant growth. The more atmospheric CO2 there is, the less water plants need to grow, so the more plants that can be grown for a fixed amount of water.

Likewise they could begin scale production of algae based biodiesel, which would make up a lot of their energy needs.

A lot of us are already here. ;-) Not so many farmers unfortunately. Give them some scrub brush covered place out west. California has not seen farming like these SOB’s do it. Their life is constant droughts. They will sink a well 3500 foot deep using their pickup and a hand drill. I am only half kidding. That will only get them 2000 feet down. The farmer would need his wifes sewing machine, his 4 Rhodesian Ridge backs in harnesses and more pipe from Home Depot to get to 3500 ft.

The SA spokesman is full of sh*t. The whites are being hunted down on their farms and many murdered along with wives being raped and also killed. It will only get worse. The two main black groups will not only try to destroy the whites but will destroy each other.
