The Latest: Lamb confident absentee ballots will go his way

Democrat Conor Lamb, who has a razor-thin lead over Republican Rick Saccone in Pennsylvania’s special congressional election, says he’s confident he’ll be the ultimate winner.

With some absentee ballots still being counted, Lamb told CNN Wednesday his campaign had made a push to help voters get absentee ballots.

Lamb told CNN he has not yet heard from Saccone, but added, “I congratulate him on fighting hard the whole way.”

Asked about his strong showing in a Republican district that Donald Trump carried by 20 points in 2016, Lamb said, “This is my home. You call it a red district, I call it western Pennsylvania.”

Trump campaigned for Saccone last weekend, urging voters not to “be conned by this guy Lamb.” Asked about Trump’s remarks, Lamb said, “There was a lot of foolishness in this election and a lot of really cartoonish campaigning, and I think by the time of the president’s visit…there was just a little bit of burnout on that type of campaigning.”

But Lamb says there are still “plenty of people here who are still pretty supportive” of Trump.

I’m still of the opinion that the GOPe puppet masters want to lose their majority in this cycle and especially now with the outsider Trumpster in office. At best, it’s a traditional move for the standard Kabuki Theater teeter totter. At worst, they’re taking one on the chin for the team to achieve their ultimate goal... cut Trump off at the knees.

Absentee votes are the “go to” vote fraud stand by for Democrats. They just have to pad the registered voter rolls and then come up with 99% of that vote. It looks bad when the vote total is more than the number of voters in a precinct.

Absentee votes are the “go to” vote fraud stand-by for Democrats in every election. They just have to pad the registered voter rolls and then come up with 99% of that vote.( It looks bad when the vote total is more than the number of voters in a precinct.)

Should the lying Lamb win, he will soon be voting with Nancy Pelosi, and come 2019, she will have the votes to impeach President Trump for something, anything.

Yet, fifty percent of the voters voted for Lamb who says he’s going to be like a Republican. Why not vote for the real deal? Go figure, I sure as hell can’t......

We aren't really a Republican/Democrat country anymore. We are evolving into a MAGA/Establishment country. and the Democrats are going to steal a page from Trump's book and run people who speak his populist message while Republicans remain bound and determined to run the same type of squishy establishment stooge that Trump defeated.

Why not vote for the real deal, you ask? What is real about today's Congressional GOP, perhaps the most cowardly gaggle of dickless eunuchs that has every sullied Capitol Hill?

There is a lot of wisdom in that observation and it is from the playbook of Richard Milhous Nixon... “Go right to win the primary, and then go to the center to win the general.”

It may have been a winning formula in 1968, but not so much now. There are NO media outlets that are friendly to a candidate or office holder that champions liberty, common sense, and government that actually operates within the constraints imposed upon it by the Constitution.

If he’s a Soros candidate why was Trump lauding him last night as someone who basically agrees with him?

But it clearly took the usual Dem cheating, too.

‘RATS must be beaten by large margins, b/c “if it’s not close, they can’t cheat.”

Lamb is a phony who campaigned as a ‘Pub, and now he’ll find a way to ‘win’ the absentee ballot count.

Because Trump is boxing that guy in. Trump is reminding him that he used Trump’s policy, without saying that, of course, to get elected.

The “ballots in the trunk” scenario will not happen in PA. The absentee ballots are delivered to the individual polling places where those people would have voted, and are counted along with the machine totals on election night. If they aren’t in the building when the polls open they aren’t getting counted.

I know this because I have family members who used to work the polls.

He is now. That said, he will be free to not get the stink eye from Dems for awhile because his vote isn’t really needed for the moment. If they win the House, all that goes away.

Simple question. If he’s so conservative why is he a Democrat?

He's not really so conservative. Will be proven if/when he gets to congress.
