Rex Tillerson is out as secretary of State, ending a tumultuous tenure as America's top diplomat that was marked by a series of public disagreements with his boss President Donald Trump.
Trump plans to appoint CIA Director Mike Pompeo to replace the former Exxon Mobil chief executive. The president picked deputy CIA Director Gina Haspel to run the spy agency.

Re lack of leaks re the proposed meeting with the Norks:
exactly - the degree to which is now even more apparent ;)
Trump and Sessions NEED someone who will NOT be run around in circles when Sessions demands documents to investigate Hillary. Pompeo is that someone. This is very bad news for Hillary Clinton.
Hope so. The kabuki theater she, Obama, et all got away with for years needs to be exposed and properly punished.
They outright lied to us, to further their own agendas and line their pockets.
Go Donald. We have your back
“Jack Posobiec @JackPosobiec
Tillerson hired multiple senior staffers who openly opposed Trump, such as Brian Hook who ran a Never Trump group that trashed the President throughout 2016”
“Jack Posobiec @JackPosobiec
Tillerson didn’t want to name Jerusalem Israel’s capital, wanted to stay in Paris climate agreement, and often undermined the President publicly and insulted him privately
No surprise why this guy was fired”
Obama State Dept Made Deal With Hillary Allowing Removal Of Records. Heres What They Removed.
DECEMBER 15, 2017
Newly-revealed documents obtained by conservative watchdog Judicial Watch reveal that the Obama State Department allowed Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her top aide Huma Abedin to remove sensitive documents that were not to be made public records.
Judicial Watch received the records on Thursday in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request that sought all DS-1904 forms completed by or on behalf of Former Secretary Hillary Clinton, Former Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills, Former Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin, and Former Deputy Chief of Staff Jacob Sullivan.
Clinton and Abedin were permitted to remove both electronic and physical records, claiming they were personal materials and unclassified, non-record materials, including files of Clintons calls and schedules, which were not to be made public.
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton noted the gravity of the latest revelations, stating they showed further corruption in the Obama administration and with Clinton.

He did good work at the state department. His task to get them under control was deemed near impossible. But he would also undercut the president when speaking to the press, so this was kind of inevitable.
always a great day when globalists are leaving (Tillerson/Cohn). It’ll be another great day when Mcmaster departs too.
Totally predictable. Excellent move.
Tillerson was an oil globalist.
Yeah, State is one of many that over the years has been infested by the liberal disease.
“The malcontents are in the majority.”
Can many of these malcontents be “shuffled” around to a desk in North Dakota or Utah? I don’t understand why those more loyal to President Trump are not yet filling the place.
The problem is that he was representing those business interests instead of America.
This has been in the wind for several months. Pompeo is a much better choice.
The number of political appointees is just a thin veneer compared to the career bureaucracy. Trumps appointees are dependent upon the career staff. In the case of Iran for example, the State bureaucrats are solidly behind the Obama deal, which they helped author.
The union magazine devoted almost an entire issue ten months ago extolling its merits. No doubt, the bureaucracy influenced Tillersons views on the deal. Pompeo will face the same headwinds.
So, the career bureaucracy folks cannot be “reassigned” to distant tasks in other parts of the U.S.?
And does the President have the option of adding new positions to the department in D.C. (filled with more loyal people)?
Re Phil Mudd?
Ex-CIA
Obviously not considered...too...outspoken...of course, POTUS.45 wouldn’t like that!

If you have reason to disagree with your boss’s policies or procedures, you have a choice: obey, convince the boss to change his thinking or leave.
That means we would have to keep paying them! RIF* 'em, don't retire 'em!
*Reduction In Force
You are right!
It is triple layered with Kerry type liberals who think their own warped ideologies dovetail perfectly with their professional responsibilities.
Cleaning the Aegean Stables.

I agree. I’m thinking last straw was his cucking to lefty hysteria and that makes him useless unless he writes for the National Review or some other “respectable” outlet.
