President Donald Trump's former adviser, Steve Bannon, told French far-right nationalists accused of racism to 'wear it as a badge of honor.' The former head of Breitbart News gave a speech before members of the French National Front Party on Saturday in Lille, France. 'Let them call you racists,' Bannon told party members. 'Let them call you xenophobes. Let them call you nativists. Wear it as a badge of honor.' Bannon told National Front members that 'history is on our side

There you go. The road to recovery is admitting you have a problem and seeing the flaw.
Get over yourself
Theres nothing honorable in being a racist.
There is nothing honorable about being falsely accused of being racist.
The left have used words to silence those that disagree with them.
As it stands now all straight white men in America are considered “racist” by the left.
Now you have a choice. Cower in the corner and peeing down your leg or standing tall against those that are trying to rule our nation using your fear of being called a name to get their way.
Depends entirely on the definition of “racist”. If a racist is one that wants to exclude muslims from our society, because they mutilate their women, throw gays off of buildings and think its ok to rape non muslim women, I’m ok with it.
If it is true, it is reprehensible. If it is untrue, then the person is a liar. Call them out. If they support abortion then they are child molesters. If they support open borders then they are anti-American.
The time for turning the other cheek is over.
Excellent post, Wardaddy.
This isn’t about me. There are rules of polite conversation. The penalty for not observing them is that others do not care to converse with those who violate them. Done and done.
Even a blind sow finds an acorn once in a while.
Just because liberals call anyone who wins an argument with them a racist doesn’t mean that that’s the definition of a racist. If they abuse a word, it has to be taken away from them. How do you take it away? Make sure it blows up in their face every time they abuse it.
For example, Donald Trump is reported to have said, “why can’t we have immigrants from places like Norway or Asia”. Libtards quote him in full, but get so worked up over the fact that he’d actually want immigrants from Norway that they ignore the “or Asia” part and run around screeching “racist,” disrupting a meeting in the oval office with a foreign ambassador, freaking out, flinging feces and making angry chimp noises. When they get tired and just stand there hyperventilating, one of them turns on Rush or Hannity, thinking smugly “Hmph. Now let’s see what they think of their hero. They can’t spin their way out of this,” and encounter the full quote with “or Asia” and remember it as if hearing it for the first time. Oops. I guess we better just shut up about this, and they move on to the next opportunity to be morally outraged, no apologies, no retraction, no nothing.
Repeat as often as they make the same mistake. Dangle bait. Let them bite and get good and hooked. Reel them in and gut them. https://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3638815/posts#17
They’ll never learn until their ratings are six feet under and nobody takes them seriously. This is more effective than what Bannon proposes, and it’s no wonder he got shown the door.
"Europe is told it must accept all immigrants because of imperialist sins of the past."
"In third world nations, we are told that indigenous people must retain some say and their culture should be respected and their traditions preserved."
You make a very good point... They have weaponized shame and are using it against us....
That's because you haven't kept up and are still using a 20th Century definition for the term.
If you have white skin, you are, by definition, a racist cracker. Embrace it.
If you are a gentleman of color, I wouldn't expect you to be able to understand.
Reminds me of an astute observation made by the Southern author and social critic Walker Percy in an essay he wrote in th 1960s during the political debate about Federal civil rights laws. He said something to this effect: "One hundred years ago, the sanctimonious people of the Union waged a civil war as part of what they claimed to be a moral crusade against slavery. Today, those same sanctimonious northerners do whatever they can to keep the former slaves from living next door to them."
The charge of racism has almost no meaning especially since one side plays kissy face with the likes of Louis Farrakhan, La Raza, Cair, Al Sharton, Jeremiah Wright, FALN and any number American hating fake civil rights organizations.
Make sure you also point-out that there’s nothing honorable in being deplorable.
Only when they are going to brand you as a racist whether you are or not.
Especially when many of the people doing it are rich white liberals who live in 90%+ white neighborhoods.
“...If we wilt every time we get yelled at as racists ...”
I’m with Bannon on this. Words only have the power we LET them have. You are spot-on, Wardaddy.
Besides ... it’s GOOD to be despised by the despicable.
And for the Leftards - you know, the ideology that has murdered millions of innocent people over the last century - to pretend to have the moral high ground, well, that’s just laughable.
