In agonizing, painful, miserable news for the Trump-hating left, a new Marist poll finds that President Trump's popularity has reached a new high at 42% approval, the highest it's been since he took office. According to The Hill:
Trump's approval rating rose from the 38 percent he received in the poll last month. And the percentage of Americans who strongly approve of Trump held at 24 percent from last month’s survey, an all-time high for the president.
At the same time, Trump's disapproval rate, now at 50%, fell four percentage points from 54%. The voters that the Trump haters the left has fed from for the past year, is shrinking.
Something has changed. And better still, these good numbers for Trump are a trend. For the rest of us, the trend is your friend.
The reason he's up, despite the Beltway's over-covered supposed turmoil at the White House, and the Russia,Russia,Russia obsession of the leftwing press, is not hard to discern. Job creation just hit the 300,000 mark, a number we have not seen in about a decade. Taxes went down - and they went down hard for almost everyone. Factories and their jobs are returning to the states. Workforce participation is growing. And get a load of this one, from the Wall Street Journal:

Most of ‘em are too young to remember Bubba’s antics, and the videos of his testimony when he was questioned about the cigar. It never gets old — watching his eyes bug out when the question was asked. The Monica Humidor. Or his love ick on her dress. Or having people troop into his office and watch a physician draw blood for DNA matching.

This is debt, not equity - all real estate. It’s 2006 in many ways, but Trump is trying to right the boat before it flips.

He just needs to keep being a non-politician. He’ll never be wildly popular because about half (more than half?) the country wants to be ruled over and provided for by their government. We can only pray he holds the electoral college.
They did have two types of polls, and sometimes they only focused the questions on whether folks approved of his job as president. They gave no way for folks to participate and address his disgusting/criminal behavior.
They did their best to protect him. Did the same thing with Obama, the national embarrassment for eight long years.
Heck, they’re still carrying water for him.

I can't believe what a maelstrom he is. Instead of going to D.C. and having it "change him," he's just remaking the whole thing from the ground up. What an absolute joy to watch!
