President Trump Suggests Executing Drug Dealers

President Trump suggested executing drug dealers to crack down on America’s opioid crisis.

“The drug dealers, the drug pushers, they’re really doing damage,” Trump said at an opioid event at the White House Thursday. “Some countries have a very, very tough penalty — the ultimate penalty. And by the way, they have much less of a drug problem than we do.”

No kidding. I’d start farther north with Mexico. Clean out all the corruption so the average Mexican no longer wants to flee his own country. I’ve thought this for years. These wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, among others IMO are such a waste of our military folks lives not to mention resources. The real threat is south of the border. Start at the Rio Grande, move all the way to the bottom of South America.

It’s great how President Trump can dominate the news cycle with minimal effort. Expressing approval is not the same as suggesting we should do the same, but the Left will freak out over this until he dangles his next distraction in front of them.

He loves letting the left chase the cheese...

- while he goes about taking care of the real business.

I’m a big fan of public humiliation therapy for low and mid level dealers. The stocks should be mounted on flatbed trucks and driven through the neighborhoods for whatever verbal and rotten egg abuse the good citizens care to instill.

I recognize the magnitude of the job, and I certainly couldn’t do anywhere near as well as President Trump. I’m just worried that it’s an impossible job. I’ve studied our first Civil War enough to understand what the thugs on the Left are pushing for, and all I can do is pray for a miracle that allows us to avoid that catastrophe . . . that and prepare for the catastrophe.

Or they could just ask for volunteers. Cause personally... it wouldn’t bother me a bit.

Just about all the violent crime in my neck of the woods is drug related. I’ll know we’re serious about the war on drugs when we start executing dealers.

Lash the users, hang the dealers.

Agree with executing dealers, but right now the pendulum has swung too far with regard to managing the crimes the users commit, society seems to have adopted them as a victim class.

But, like street prostitutes, they are victims AND offenders at the same time. They create enormous negative public utility.

When I was a libertarian, and later when I was still influenced by certain libertarian ideas, I did not pay enough attention to public utility, but I have lately come to appreciate its importance in creating a safe and sane environment.

Travelling stocks...I LIKE that idea!

One thing all the perps really hate is humiliation.

Just stopping our own federal government (CIA) from importing them will be a big step.

Hillary won the popular vote

Take CA out of the mix with its millions of illegal alien votes and Trump wins the PV handily.

"... Trump said at an opioid event at the White House Thursday."

I don't think the writer meant this quite the way it came off.

On the other hand, considering the decline in (read: absence of) Journalistic integrity . . .

You can’t get a child rapist/killer with DNA PROOF EXECUTED, crime was commited in 1990.

Maybe if the drugs cross state borders, it becomes a federal offense. (interstate commerce).

Under the idea of interstate commerce, wouldn't merely placing a telephone call as part of the crime make it a federal offense?

>>It’ll have to be done at the federal level.<<

And the sooner the better. Any truly civilized society would protect it’s citizens by executing, and quickly, all convicted terrorists, murderers, and drug dealers. No exceptions. Institution of that policy would result in an immediate decline in perpetration of those crimes.

>>The writer is an idiot and a propagandist.<<

I assume the same of all writers, reporters, journalists, etc., unless and until they prove themselves not to be so. Pretty much all of these professions have been degraded by the left to the point of universal ridicule.

Any heroin dealer should be immediately thrown into a ditch and shot.
