You can trace the decline of our nation to the 19th amendment. Seriously.

“...No single women, non-homeowners allowed to vote...”
I had an economics teacher (long ago) sho was adamant that only people who paid income taxes should be allowed to vote - absolutely no one who received welfare.

30 is the new 18.
I think you ought to be a stakeholder - i.e. pay more taxes than you get in benefits (other than senior citizens who have paid into “benefit” system) to be able to vote.

Ridiculous. It was a teenager who did this latest shooting not an adult.

Raise the voting age to 40 and watch the Country improve.

Raise the voting age to 21 for anyone that is not active military or National Guard/Coast Guard.

I’m a single woman, over 35, homeowner, business owner, and taxpayer. Where do I fit in?

As always, the lefties do whatever they can to subvert, corrupt, defraud, undermine, and dilute our legitimate votes.
The leftists have always just hated free and fair elections; as they have (save for some windmill tilting at manufactured, breathlessly hysterical, fictional boogey persons and straw causes) nothing positive to show for their existence.
Voters eventually figure out the fiction of their claims and the danger to their freedoms then stray from the Dem plantation. They need to consistently back-fill with new and unworldly voters.

So they are mature enough to vote but not mature enough to hold a weapon till they are 21 or so they believe, this is one of the most idiotic things I have ever read.

There’s a reason there were no children at the Constitutional convention.

Add one exception. Active duty military and veterans and their spouses get the vote before 40.

The young people who have come forward to call for gun control in the wake of the mass shooting at their high school in Parkland, Fla., are confirming the tiresome stereotype of American kids as indolent narcissists whose brains have been addled by smartphones. Fixed it.
