Whoopi Goldberg admitted recently on The View that she’s actually a member of the National Rifle Association. Who knew?
We’re going to go out on a limb and guess that the vast majority of our readers aren’t the type of people who regularly watch The View (though there may be a handful of you out there), so you probably didn’t catch the May 9 episode with guest John Stossel of Fox.
Stossel was chatting with the ladies about his new book, “No, They Can’t: Why Government Fails But Individuals Succeed.” Trayvon Martin and gun control inevitably came up and hostess Whoopi Goldberg admitted that she was a member of the NRA. When Stossel asked Goldberg if she was carrying at that moment, Goldberg replied, “You don’t want to find out.” The audience loved her answer.
You know, maybe we’re casting too wide of a net here. Maybe there are actually a lot of Guns.com readers who also watch The View. Maybe a bunch of seemingly outspoken Liberals are unabashedly members of the NRA. It just goes to show you: you can’t always judge a book by its cover, especially when that book could be carrying a concealed weapon.

I’m pretty sure a lot of celebrities have guns. And many are hypocrites.
The vast majority of individuals in this country think, “I’m smart enough, and responsible enough to handle a gun. My friends, too — they are good people. If we want one, we should be able to have one.”
One of the differences between Liberals and Conservatives, is that Conservatives see most of the population that way — “if you want one, you should be able to have one: it’s no big deal.”
But liberals think, “No. Not you. You can’t handle it. Sure, I can handle it. My friends can handle it. But not you. You need to be restricted. Because you’re not good enough.”
Michael Moore used to try recruiting libs to the NRA, for the purpose of taking control of the organization. Don’t know if he’s still a member.
Yes, Moore is, a lifetime member. He’s joined by James Earl Jones, and Stephen Spielberg who at one time had one of the largest collections of guns in Hollywood to include a cannon.
Johnny Depp,and his wife, are gun enthusiasts. Kurt Russell is an avid hunter and Karl Malone and Tom Selleck are members of the NRA board. A lot of people are members or interested in guns. Some just don’t want to admit it.

For the most part, the little people are denied safety and security and they get zero protection. When they go into public, they're cannon fodder for any deranged psycho, violent criminal etc.

I just purchased a lifetime membership in the NRA.

Whoopi Goldberg is one of those liberal Hollywood idiots who are hypocrites and can’t figure common sense. She was on an international awards show and complained that nothing good has come from NASA and the space program, that it is a waste of money and useless. All while the show was telecast world-wide via satellites. It was later explained to her and she was perplexed. Like who knew that satellites are useful for television broadcasts. Just another Hollywood moron.
Years back, Whoopi was on TV being Interviewed by Baba Wawa (I believe).
She mentioned that she keeps a Shotgun next to her Bed.
My first thought at the time, so that’s how she got Frank Langella and Ted Danson to screw her.
I think this came about when, years ago, some SJW actors decided to become NRA members, take over, and change the direction of the NRA.
Like so many things actors spout off about, they were long on talk and short on action.
So guns are ok for whoopi, but not for others.
I think Dana does just fine.

Tom Selleck would be GREAT as president of the NRA. It would be Charlton Heston, Part 2.
And yep, I know that Selleck is currently starring on a TV show. But seeing as NRA president is just a ceremonial position anyway, it should be doable. Run Tom, run!
The reason the rich and powerful fly private. Quite a few shockers.
If law abiding blacks knew the history of the NRA, more would be members. The largest demographic of CC classes in the Chicago metro area is older black males sick and tired of gangbangers who want at least a chance at self-defense.
