Tom Selleck would be GREAT as president of the NRA. It would be Charlton Heston, Part 2.
And yep, I know that Selleck is currently starring on a TV show. But seeing as NRA president is just a ceremonial position anyway, it should be doable. Run Tom, run!
My kudos to Mr Selleck as he has been an outspoken promoter of the NRA. But you are right in that his career is still his primary work and to do the position of NRA president a real service it would have to be a full time job with appearances he wouldn’t have time for.
Maybe in the future when he decides to retire from acting.
