You should take this up with SJackson, he made the title of this thread “Why Purim is Trump’s Holiday.” Very misleading, the title doesn’t jive what is said in the body of the article: “President Donald Trump may not know this (although his daughter Ivanka might), but Purim is his holiday.”
What I said reflected that confusion: “If Purim is indeed Trump’s holiday.” Take notice, the “IF.”
Besides, Trump doesn’t drink, he couldn’t do Purim. As I understand it, he brought up his children likewise. Makes one to wonder: has Ivanka left her teetotaling upbringing? now getting drunk on Purim with her husband.
I have no problem with SJ’s post. We often get articles or opinions from different sources. SJ is a fine freeper. I’m entitled to think the article is a piece of garbage when it starts out with the old “vulgar” trope.
