Sure, like Chicago and other urban areas, don't arrest the criminals. They're just little criminals after all, wait till they've advanced. And the crime stats get better, the real objective. Besides, if you're going to live a life of crime, school is a good place to start. Even this Cruz kid, only one arrest and none while at school. With intervention, they're be a number of disciplinary incidents. Wouldn't look good. If the school becomes unlivable, like many inner cities, small price to pay. The politicians who buy into this are the core of the problem.

No problem. Just put the security in majority white schools and leave the majority black schools unguarded. I’m sure that won’t cause a problem. /sarc

More proof that, “vulnerable” and “at risk” equate to criminal and dangerous.

Right. The correct “knee-jerk” reaction is, “Ban guns!”

Let’s see... intervene at an early age, head off a life of crime. Or let the little criminals keep getting away with criminal acts, and watch them branch into more violent crime as they grow.
I think I like the first option better.

The author wants more dead students rather than live students who have records. Got it.

I think I like the first option better.Given the fact that imo the primary cause of this shooting appears to be non intervention of authorities, it's an amazing incident to use as an excuse for non intervention. Dead students, so Cruz wouldn't have a criminal record. Till he committed multiple murders. Don't mean to gloss over incompetence of authorities, also a factor.

If blacks kill each other, that the law of the jungle.
When white kids die, everyone goes in a lather of outrage and demands guns be banned.
Just don’t accuse liberals of being racist.

It stands along with (inherent) black violence, in general.
Blacks commit homicide around 7 times the rates of whites.

Broward County was at the forefront in implementing the Stop the Schools to Proson Pipeline program. Look it up. (I may have a slightly different phrasing.....look up schools to prison pipeline). Sad, but holding criminals accountable for misdemeanors may stop them from committing worse crimes later on.
