Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk wants to grab Mars like President Donald Trump reportedly grabbed — well, you know.
That’s according to Marcie Bianco, editorial and communications manager at Stanford University’s Clayman Institute for Gender Research.

Since it is popular to claim that the human race originated in Africa, aren’t we all “African-Americans”?
There is nothing stopping anyone from a group self-defined as “diverse” (vs Elon’s excluded group) from starting their own to-Mars business. All are welcome, competition is welcome, leverage whatever qualities you see fit to get there first! If you think excluding successful people based on their gender/color will do better, then have at it; I firmly disagree, but welcome the challenge to demonstrate which world view proves more productive.

Methinks terms should not be defined into oblivion/irrelevancy.
Ethnicity really only applies (unless in a medical context for objective reasons) to immigrants or 1st-/2nd-generation descendants thereof. Beyond that, they have/should-have assimilated with domestic culture, and genetics should be little more than coincidence at that point.
Elon having literally been born & raised in Africa, by Nth-generation parents, and is a “naturalized” US citizen, he is unequivocally African-American.
There’s nothing stopping a female Musk from sending women to mars. Our politicians are happy to take payoffs from any gender in order to make someone a billionaire.
Maybe academics should focus on why women aren’t scamming the government as much as men and building huge businesses that can do things like send women to mars.
Just because most female big-time scammers (e.g. Hillary) go into government rather than business doesn’t mean they all have to. Find the right women and support their business and women can do anything with their business that men can do (direct movies, start the next amazon.com, send women to mars). Stop complaining about men and start empowering women.
Nobody would give a flaming crap about what this woman has to say if she wasn’t paying a fine institution $60K a year to learn about it.
