A group of Washington, D.C., teenagers staged a “lie-in” outside the White House on Monday to show their support for the victims of last week’s mass shooting at a Florida high school — and to demand action from President Trump on gun control. The students, with Teens for Gun Reform, took turns lying down for three minutes to symbolize “how quickly” the organization says suspected shooter Nikolas Cruz could have legally purchased the gun he allegedly used to kill 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., on Feb. 14.

I wonder if they’ll stage a lie-in at the unemployment office 10 years from now because they have no marketable skills other than “agitating” and “protesting” because they spent their time pulling silly stunts like this rather than being in school learning.

If it isn’t, there will be another one next month and the ineffective FBI, NICS, school security, prescribing doctor, friends, and parents will be “shocked, shocked, I say!” that this one got through too.

Until they take the semi-autos away.

Then, the next month, the first pump- or lever-action shooter will come out and get his bag limit of humans and the process will begin again.

At least 3/4 of the male students in the lie-in are thinking about the girls at the lie-in. Who knows about the rest...but don't drop the soap in the shower tent.

These are adolescents after all. Hardly a brain cell among them that isn't joined at the hip with a sex-related hormone.
