Rubio Says the Florida Shooter Should Be Executed

I was listening to a prosecuting attorney today on Fox. He acknowledged the extenuating circumstances of the neglect of this boy’s mental instability throughout his life and the neglect of numerous agencies to report his actions, his words, his internet photos and comments, or to take anything seriously, in Florida.

Already, the defense is offering a “Guilty” plea in exchange for taking the death penalty off the table, and going for life, he said. This would be a cheaper and faster path to trial, for Florida.

He believes the defense attorney’s will have a case, but the prosecution can go for the death penalty, given the heinous crime, please the public and the grieving families, and leave the actual outcome to the jury.

The killer has shown remorse, according to reports and is appearing to be emotionally spent, in court with his head down and no eye contact.

Personally, I thought the USA has law against the death penalty for the criminally insane. Perhaps, I’m wrong.

Rubio is visibly bitter about being a senator. He didn’t like being senator before he ran for president, he said so, and he got pressured into retaining the seat for the Republicans.

I haven’t seen him smile since he lost. Maybe he grew up, or maybe he is just a sour faced dork forever seeking the fence wire to sit on. I never liked him and saw him as carrying a grudge in his leniency for immigrants and his general follow on to McCain’s Gang of Eight. The 8 most troublesome RINOS in the US SENATE.

That’s a very good point, how much did that contribute to his state of mind?

I know everyone wants answer as to why he did it, as if that would maybe bring some clarity as to why such a horrific thing happened, but what really got my attention was almost immediately after he did it, he was reported to be remorseful and regretful for his actions. My sense is that people that carry something like that out have a sense they were justified in doing so, that they had a reason for doing so, but here it was like this kid really had NO reason or motive to do it, was not really sure why he did it.

Really a strange act. Kind of like everyone wants to believe that there was a conspiracy to kill JFK because it is too hard to believe a little nobody like LHO could take down the most powerful man in the free world, all by himself. That is really just too mind bending to believe that the full force of the US government could not protect the Commander in Chief.

Here too, it is kind of mind-bending that this kid this, without rhyme or reason (even to him). committed multiple murders, and soon after was sorry he did so. Just appears that he lapses in and out of reality.
