Cindy McCain accepted an award on behalf of her husband John McCain, who is ill with brain cancer, on Saturday night at the Munich Security Conference. She read a letter from her husband in which the Republican Senator and longtime foreign policy hawk urges America’s allies to stand by the values that won the Cold War.
Letter:
To my dear and cherished friends, and to my worthy adversaries:
It breaks my heart that I cannot be with you. But as Cindy has no doubt told you, after many polite consultations with my doctors … I was strongly advised not to travel to Munich. And as you know, I never second guess the experts.

Well, he IS continuing to fight the COld War. Except, like becoming an ace fighter pilot (he did shoot down, burn up, crash, eject from or destroy five US Navy planes you know!), McCain is still fighting AGAINST his enemies in the Cold War: The US conservatives and the US interests at home, and fighting FOR the globalists and international socialists.
And the "experts" he approves of are his media allies, foreign and domestic. But isn't that phrase such a sly dig at Trump's out-of-Washington replacements for the Bush-Clinton-Bush-McCain-Obama-NYTimes-ABCNNBCBS "experts" who got us into the trouble Trump is fighting right now!
Actually, today is the day I predicted. February 19 is 6 months from his surgery.

This dude is down for the count. Costco has a magazine prominently displayed that depicts the honorable McCain in all its Glory. His days are numbered.
I did a bit of research on that and as an old Army guy who knows basically nothing about the Navy I'm not sure I understood what I read.However,I don't recall him having been disciplined in any way and if that recollection is correct that would indicate that he wasn't determined to have been at fault.
If I'm wrong here hopefully someone will set me straight.

I just had a horrible thought. What if Cindy McCain goes for that seat and is seated by the Governor. That would be the worst case scenario.

What gives Cindy the right to just slide her ass into Johnny’s seat? This is BS.
If Governor Ducey appointed Cindy to replace her loathsome husband, I think Ducey would be putting his own re-election in serious jeopardy. That would be a very controversial, divisive appointment.

I try to not bad mouth VETS, especially Combat Vets but I am going to have to make an exception here.
Were not JM Grandfather an ADM and Father a CDR or CAPT at the time he went to Annapolis, his skinny ass would have been either kicked to the curb or tossed aboard ship as a SA.
He played around in Flight School, ended up getting shot down and in essence really did nothing (OTHER THAN BEING THERE and at least he was there..have to credit him for that)
After shoot down probably could have had an ‘early out’ if he cooperated OPENLY but he probably didn’t. I wasn’t there and that is a small community and normally those that make it home don’t ‘bad mouth’ one another ...
While PDT may have been crude, he did hit the nail on the head when he basically said all McCain had really accomplished was getting captured (Someone who has NEVER donned the uniform in ANY capacity should be very careful when criticizing someone who did)
IMNHSO, McCain & Glenn got their USN/USMC ‘payback’ when they ‘walked away’ from the Keating Five mess.
And notice he was the ONLY R involved with 4 Ds...so his party affiliation has been in doubt for some time.
