“The American government complaining about foreign interference in our elections has the biggest joke I’ve heard in awhile. The hypocrisy is so off the charts I have to assume they are being ironic”

Bears repeating.

The NYT could be indicted under the legal theory Mueller advances in this indictment.

What a joke.

Busted for fake facebook accounts and making posts against candidates.

If that trivial act results in indictment, what are the Clintons doing loose?

Mueller forgets that proving libel/slander against public figures is impossible

Rosenstein can’t indict anyone. He is a crook himself.

This move immunizes the compromised “RR” from being relieved of his position- and further protects the absurd out of control Mueller

“Obstruction of justice” ya know,as they chase down Russian punk bloggers

RUSSIA! AG Sessions jumps into his foxhole and covers his head

Am I missing something? Listening to this statement; so far I haven’t heard anything illegal.

The argument isn't libel based, libel isn't even a crime.

The indictment is based on a theory that any foreigner who spends money advocating in US elections (See Carlos Slim's NYT) is in violation of US criminal statutes.

Then they better indict Vicent Fox, too! That BASS-TURD bad-mouthed Trump throughout the 2016 election cycle!

Doesn’t THAT prove that Mexico was meddling in our election?!?

I still don't understand how Rosenstein, who approved one of more of the bogus FISA requests, is still acting AG. It's been almost a year since AG Sessions recused himself from his job, isn't it time for him to step down and be replaced?

It does not immunize him at all. He is still under investigation himself.

Still ridiculous, basically foreign bloggers.

This is Mueller’s exit strategy.

There is a law on the books that precludes foreigners from taking actions in support of any candidate for foreign office.

Never mind that it has very rarely, if ever, been enforced. Especially in the case of Democrats of the modern era like the Clintons and Obama.

Incorrect - it is illegal for foreign citizens to fund political candidates (for obvious reasons). Never mind the fact that the Clintons take foreign funding all the time. Never mind the fact that Obama took thousands of credit card donations from international sources without ever verifying their citizenship...

Where this could apply to US citizens are McCains vaunted Campaigns finance laws - which is an attempt to criminalize free speech.

Again - I’ll point out the argument by progressives that illegal immigrants have all rights under the US Constitution without being a citizen. If that’s true - these charges are baseless.
