I'd like to see verification of that, because if true it would be unusual. I was watching an interview yesterday with the Broward County school superintendent and he had mentioned it. School Resource Officers I believe he called them. They're on campus on a daily basis I think.

Just saw on Fox. There were security people on the grounds. One was killed by the shooter.
He was licensed to carry but was PROHIBITED from doing so by law!
Sad and sickening.
What are security guards supposed to do, to protect themselves and those they are SUPPOSED to be protecting?

I’d like to see verification of that, because if true it would be unusual.
Vaquero posted (post 2) that Fox News reported there were two guards, on campus, but they were prohibited from being armed.
Which is it, DD?
Do you have a link/source that they were in fact armed/allowed to use their weapons?
