Israel Police will recommend indicting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for bribery and breach of trust in two cases Tuesday night, Israel's Channel 2 and Channel 10 reported.
After a 14-month-long investigation, police are expected to announce on Tuesday that it found enough evidence to recommend the states prosecution to indict Netanyahu for bribery and breach of trust in Case 1000, the gifts affair" and Case 2000, the "Yediot Aharanot Affair."
In Case 1000, the gifts affair, it is alleged that Netanyahu improperly accepted expensive gifts from different businessmen.
In Case 2000, the Yediot Aharonot affair, Netanyahu allegedly negotiated with publisher Arnon Noni Mozes for favorable coverage of himself in Yediot Aharonot in exchange for support of a bill to weaken Israel Hayom, the largest circulation Hebrew-language paper and Yediots biggest competitor.
At this stage, the prosecution and Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit will examine the evidence that police collected throughout the investigations, and will later decide whether to actually indict the prime minister or not.
Netanyahu will not be required at this point to resign from office. The law says that only after a peremptory Supreme Court verdict (meaning after an appeal was submitted and rejected), the prime minister must resign from office.

Leftists will try anything.
Huh - they sound both like nothing burger charges that every politician has done at one time or another.
Aw, don’t give Mueller any ideas . . . too late.
Oh, no. Are they taking down Bibi?
The peace at any cost crowd.
If he’s forced out of office, replace him with someone to his right. Repeat as necessary.
Look at all and who the Prog's have gone after the last year and tell me how this isn't related.
If they remove BiBi, it’s the perfevt time for a muzzie attach!
USA State Dept has been trying to get rid of him since the ‘90s
They are probably behind this.
Israel is and has been well served by Bibi, but he is only human, and cannot serve forever at full capacity. I’m hoping he has a few protege, quite a few.
And Menendez skates

Good grief.
Prayers for Bibi.
Praying their Supreme Court
It’s often difficult to know who is a good guy and who is not. I’ve always numbered Netanyahu in the good guy column. This is not nearly enough to change my mind. I agree with you about the stench.
I think those of us who are honest and conservative (kind of the same thing) need to be both rational and open-minded and base our assessments on evidence, not just knee-jerk reaction to defend/condemn. The Bush clan, who I have long defended, have slid into the gray area and are teetering on the edge of being in the bad guy column, IMO.
I don’t want to give a free pass to people I like, but unless they can come up with more than petty issues, hearsay, or entrapment type situations, the good guy meter isn’t budging much for me on Netanyahu.
I try to think of this in reverse when I see how hard it is to budge the hard left in defense of their “heroes”.
They couldn’t get rid of BiBi in the ballot box so they are trying it this way. Obama and his left wing goons spent 250,000 trying to get rid of BiBi and failed
Along with Trump, BiBi has to go. They are slowing the NWO progress.
The commies are on a roll all over the free world. Get ready to kiss the concept of freedom goodbye.
If that is a crime (and I believe it is), then we have a tremendous amount of U.S. politicians who should suffer the same fate. How is it that many of our politicians enter office working-class poor and emerge multi-millionaires? In the case of Bill and Hillary Clinton, they are worth tens of millions of dollars due to "gifts" given to them either directly or through such vehicles as the "Clinton Foundation."
The Clintons are worth HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS
Prayers for Bibi.

I join in your prayer.
