The White House still doesn’t offer a Spanish-language version of its website more than a year after President Trump took office, The Associated Press reports.
The past two administrations offered Spanish content on the official White House website. Then-press secretary Sean Spicer said last year that Trump officials had deleted the Spanish parts of the site but the staffers were “working overtime” to create a new one.
White House director of media affairs Helen Aguirre Ferre said in July that the Spanish site would be launched by the end of 2017, but has now declined to tell the AP if the website is still in the works.

There used to be a whole bunch of Spanish language magazines aimed
at builders. The Editor of the English version told me that they cancelled production because the majority of Hispanic builders are illiterate and the rest preferred the English publication.

Didn’t an early USA Congress decide NOT to print the Congressional Record in German? So why Spanish!
It led to the myth that the Congress one time rejected German as the official language of the USA.
I don’t know. Maybe they should at least have a link to google translation page. That should keep the loonies happy.

In all fairness, Trump is “not” their president. Besides, if he had a Spanish website, they probably wouldn’t read it anyway.
I’ve had to make several calls to the US passport office (really just a call center as you aren’t allowed to call the office that can actually fix an error made by them when entering application information into the system!) due to a delay in processing my son’s passport. Miserable experience all around, but the shocker was the automated answer to “press one for English”.
I may be wrong, but isn’t citizenship required to obtain a US passport?
I was floored that people could be getting US passports without being able to speak English.
