Boston authorities said they seized more than 33 pounds of fentanyl—enough to kill millions of people—in connection with one of Massachusetts’ biggest drug busts ever.
In announcing the results of a six-month wiretap probe called "Operation High Hopes," prosecutors said the synthetic opioid was being sold on the street by a drug gang with links to Mexico’s notorious Sinaloa Cartel, the drug organization once led by Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán.

I keep seeing how deadly this stuff is, but how would you deliver it so as to kill millions of people? The thought comes to mind that perhaps they could put it in the water supply or blow it into the air, like a dirty bomb. However, I suspect each victim would each have to inject it into themselves. So, yes, it is deadly. But the enough-to-kills-millions is pure hype intended to garner clicks. I find it annoying, actually and I feel manipulated.
I’m thinking in the water supply but that would dilute it.

Liberals need to bring in millions of illegals each year to replace their millions of future voters and current voters killed with their beloved abortions and by the deaths from their illegal drug use.
This is not technically a weapon of mass destruction, although the results are often the same. This is a drug used quite intentionally by voluntary consumers. It will kill some, and destroy most of the other users in a multitude of ways.
Used for cancer patients. It is 60 times stronger than heroine and 100 times stronger than morphine.

Do you think that those in political power are above making the population low level dependent on stimulants by jacking then water supply?
I think they use the term deadly because the stuff is so dangerous if you overdose. Another way to state it would be that this is enough to OD the entire population of Boston.

Funny you should ask that. I suspect that North Korea is running factories producing drugs in industrial quantities. There is plenty of reason to suspect they have been doing this for a long time. They then ship it to intermediate countries and then on to Mexico. It is much easier to get into a Mexican port than an American one. Then it gets smuggled across the American border. Thirty three pounds is small enough that a man could backpack it forty miles with no problem.
Incidentally, I interviewed a smuggler once. He brought artifacts from Belize to sell to collectors in the US. He said that there were billboards at the air port promising to smuggle your object into the US. He used their services and got his large, heavy grave goods delivered to his door by UPS. He asked how they did it and they would forge markings on goods to certify them as reproductions and place them in the back of forty foot containers that get x-rayed. Millions of these containers come into the United States every year and checking them all, or even a large sample, would be impossible. The risk is very low. Thirty, or a hundred, or even a thousand pounds buried in with something else would be, for all practical purposes, impossible to detect.
My fear is that one day somebody will smuggle in biological or nuclear weapons. Customs tries really hard to prevent this, but they are few compared with the quantity of stuff walking in illegally and being shipped legally.
When Customs does make a huge bust, most likely it was from a tip given them by the smuggler’s competition.
Why can’t we let the illegals wipe out the state? Their population demands we let the illegals do what they want.
Some FReepers get triggered by marijuana but this is the kind of stuff they should direct their attention to.
Unlike heroin, Fentanyl is a manufactured drug. It can also be injected or ABSORBED through the skin. Very dangerous.
