BTW, Ben Shapiro is extremely influential among young people, as are Lauren Southern and Milo Yiannopoulos, although my daughter describes Milo as "a sensationalist."

White is a color, but it's also a bit of a misnomer for people of European descent. Pink-to-Olive skinned would be more accurate. So, technically, a "person of color" would be the lead no matter who was selected for the role.

Seems to me the answer to the problem is for white people to have their own schools so entitled minorities won’t feel oppressed by them.
Any settlement will be paid for by taxes, which are already sky-high in upstate NY, but in this case, its worth it.

I always wanted Clive Owen to be bond, but I would not mind if Idris Elbe got the role especially if her dropped about 15 pounds. All the catterwallowing on both sides about this stuff is nonsense. The problem with the schools is then school board and the principals and they re elected by the parents. you get what you deserve when there is a vote.

If they were putting on, say, Little Shop of Horrors, and they cast a black student as Audrey or Seymour, everyone would be applauding how wonderfully colorblind and inclusive the play was. If some white student protested that the role should really go to a white, he/she would be an evil racist and their opinion certainly would not be respected, or able to cause the canceling of the play.
Just THINK what this country is going to be like very shortly, when whites are a minority. Your kids or grandkids will never get a part in a play, never win an award, never get anything any person of color wants. Wait and see.

This “social justice” group is made up of 4 kids. There are 16 Black kids in the entire school. Unreal.
How about if the white actress played the role in black face?
Imagine if the headline read, “Black Girl Wins Lead in Musical; School Cancels”
She should sue if she aspires to be a professional actress. This role would have been experience and looked good on her resume. She won the role fair and square and then had it taken away from her solely because of her race. I hope she sues and wins big. This kind of crap has to be fought, and fought hard.
