Does the FISA court maintain regular court transcripts?

Does FISA fly by the seat of their pants?

FISA court has a small footprint. Does the court maintain an archive that is secure? Can the records be update and modified by the agency without the oversight of the judge?

Color me curious.

As I understand it: He did not recuse; he was forced to withdraw.

How would anyone know who the FISA judge is and who appointed him. It’s a secret tribunal.

Obama may have appointed the judge but the President does not appoint FISA judges.

The Court sits in Washington D.C., and is composed of eleven federal district court judges who are designated by the Chief Justice of the United States. That would be John Roberts.

Distr Judge Rudolph Contreras Appointed by Obama, May 9, 2016 to the FISA Ct.

Looks like the Clintons and Obama put a lot of dollar bills into the "Diversity Lottery" for judgeships.

I remember Judge Sullivan. He tried to railroad Senator Ted Stevens during his trial. Stevens was targeted because his removal flipped the Senate to the Democrats - it was a completely political "prosecution." Sullivan turned a blind eye to prosecutorial misconduct for over a year, until the DOJ itself found more overwhelming evidence of fraud and abuse.

Whichever, he never should have taken the case.

It will be interesting to see what Carter Page does today.

His lawsuit is one of the things that will get the FISA approval document revealed.

POINTS TO PONDER (hat tip Hotlanta Mike)

Such a tangled web.

<><> Judge Rudolph Contreras appointed by Obama, May 9, 2016 to the FISA Court.

<><> Just in time to surveil candidate Trump.

<><> CONTRERAS approved the flawed FISA order.

<><> Contreras was the judge on Michael Flynn’s case but recused himself.

Dems Go After Devin Nunes
DB Daily Update ^ | David Blackmon / FR Posted by EyesOfTX

EXCERPT.... the Democrat/fake media complex is challenging the claim in the memo that Andrew McCabe told the committee that “no surveillance warrant would have been sought” were it not for the possession by the FBI of the fake dossier.

This claim comes mainly from the notorious liar/leaker Adam Schiff, who has been caught in more lies about this memo and the process around it than a 9 year-old pick-pocket, so it is automatically suspect.

But this dispute is very easily resolved: Just release the transcript of McCabe’s testimony to the public. This is not hard. All of these criticisms of the memo can be resolved by releasing all of the underlying documentation upon which it is based. You can bet the Democrats will fight tooth and nail to keep that transcript secret, no doubt with the FBI’s help. When you see that happening, you know who is lying.

Just another day in panicking weasels and liars America.

There doesn’t need to be a special counsel. There needs to be a public trial. This needs to be done on C-Span by the Republicans. The Congress needs to be thorough, just (not fair) and stick to the law. But, it needs to be done publicly. This is the only chance that will ever happen to destroy demonrats.

Start naming light poles in DC with the names of Demonrats. People that live in DC need to start hanging Demonrat and Never Trumpers in effigy.

One of the great hazards of running a Constitution-warping program - it takes Honorable and incorruptible men to make it work - and 95% of them are as corrupt as they come...

Make deliberate abuse a capital crime and record all parts of all sessions for reference as to whether they followed the intent of the law....

Need a special counsel to pursue this, but one who is not up to his eyeballs entangled in it.

In this case, a special prosecutor since the role will be to prosecute the crimes that the investigation has uncovered.
