...It turns out the Senate Judiciary Committee also has a memo on Christopher Steele, the FBI and Russia dossier they are working to declassify. Their memo is set to be released including FBI redactions shortly....
Paul Sperry of the New York Post reported, BREAKING: The Senate Judiciary Committee also has a memo on Steele, the dossier and the FBI, and is working to get it declassified.
[....]
As previously reported, GOP Lawmakers are seeking to make the case that the Mueller investigation and the FBI probe into Trumps campaign was based on potentially tainted and flawed evidence connected to Hillary Clinton, says John Solomon of The Hill.
Solomons report revealed part of the investigation includes an eight page criminal referral filed with the DOJ by Grassley and Graham:
...While the FBI has been protesting the release of the Nunes memo, it has been working behind the scenes to vet a version of the Grassley-Graham memo, which is expected to be released in redacted form soon....
On January 5th, Senate Judiciary Chair Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) sent a letter to Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray demanding they investigate if Christopher Steele lied to federal authorities.

Sessions basically said, $hit happens, so don’t sweat it.
Doesn’t really make me feel any more secure in my civil liberties.
I saw a lot of those guys at Ruby Ridge and Waco not to Mention at The Bundy Stand Off. No doubt Roy Finicum was shot by one of those heroes that then lied about it.
Well, yes, Trump hiring Sessions is one of the biggest mistakes of the administration. Campaign support and loyalty didn't translate into good manager and advocate for justice.
Wonder if Joseph E. diGenova would be a good choice? Maybe as a special counsel? Would love to see someone like Jeanine or Coulter or even Christie but all have challenges--too political, skeletons, even more GOPe than healthy. All in all I think Alan Dershowitz would be a great special counsel, especially if teamed with diGenova. Just musing...
Wray wasn’t head of the FBI. Though a convinced conspiracy theorist, I don’t believe everything is a conspiracy. Inflammatory speculation does no good.
We know none of that.
We know that the acting AG on those matters, Rod Rosenswamp, is compromised and won't prosecute.
We know none of that.
Oh yes we do. Go look at Jeff Sessions confirmation hearing when he said under oath that he will be recused from all matters connected to Clinton.
Go look at Nunes memo and see why Rosenswamp is compromised.
Wray's behavior this week has been terrible. Let's start with the announcement up on the FBI website proclaiming that the release of the Nunes memo would put us in "grave danger".
That was an outright lie.
Depends on what the meaning of "us" is.
I think this one is 8 pages.
Title I warrant allows the Feds to surveil anyone the main target talks to, and those who talk to that secondary person, et ad finitum.
Chain surveillance.
FLAWLESS VICTORY!
>>More spin on those partisan Republicans undermining the Mueller probe from Denocrats and the fake news media.
Dead Red Ted Kennedy colluded with the KGB and US Media to influence the 1984 presidential election to try to defeat Ronald Reagan.
The media is guilty as sin colluding with Democrats (Hitlery Rotten Clinton’s team specifically) in the 2016 election (to defeat Bernie Sanders, to permit her review of ‘news’ coverage during the election, and to promote this “Russia” conspiracy story).
FUDNCMSM
Now we know why Hillary and everyone kept saying there is no way Trump would be allowed to win.
Makes the victory all that much greater. He still beat them.
It was a recusal, ordered by Roberts, Chief Justice of SCOTUS.
#winning
You know...the kid's got a point.
(Nods thoughtfully.)

On one hand, I imagine they had plans for spying on him.
On the other hand, I think Yeb! was the designated loser and he knew that it was his job to lose. Problems was, he peaked too early and lost in the primary.
