Department of Justice Inspector General canceled his Tuesday Congressional briefing on the FBIs Clinton investigation.
Earlier today Deputy Director Andrew McCabe was removed from his post at the FBI.
This came the day after FBI Director visited Capitol Hill to read the 4-page House Intelligence FISA memo.
But the New York Times said McCabes resignation was linked to the Inspector Generals briefing that was planned on Tuesday.
In a recent conversation, Christopher A. Wray, the F.B.I. director, raised concerns about a forthcoming inspector general report examining the actions of Mr. McCabe and other senior F.B.I. officials during the 2016 presidential campaign, when the bureau was investigating both Hillary Clintons email use and the Trump campaigns connections to Russia. In that discussion, according to one former law enforcement official close to Mr. McCabe, Mr. Wray suggested moving Mr. McCabe into another job, which would have been a demotion. Instead, the former official said, Mr. McCabe chose to leave. His departure was not announced at the bureau, leaving agents to learn of it from news reports.
But the plans have changed.

Lol, it is a mess over there. He does have a summary, somewhere. I’ve seen it.
“- it was said, when McCabe was (previously) booted from his office, a special cleanup team went in and one of the things they may have recovered was a report by the FBI digital experts who got a hold of SR laptop and McCabe had taken and been hiding.
“
is that today or another day his office got ‘cleansed’?
there is a summary of links at the bottom of the home page called “the big Dirty” or something..
a good (albeit detailed) primer that lays out the background of the scandal is the article on ‘operation condor’ by sundance on CTH... just do a search for “conservative treehouse operation condor”
I tend to heavily discount posters and blogs which employ childish nicknames and unnecessary abbreviations. It’s as if they want to act as if they are in the know. Bad English is another clue that the poster doesn’t have a clue. However, you always have to cut people slack about spelling since some of our devices are “sure” that we didn’t really mean that word! :)
A lot of them are probably thinking of the speech Tom Hagen gave to Frank Pentangeli in Godfather II.
Dems are in serious trouble and they are in a panic.
The DOJ Inspector General reports to the Attorney General and Congress. Sessions has recused himself from all things Russia... Rosenstein is the Deputy AG, but may himself be a subject of the IG report. If the IG report was to recommend a formal investigation to Congress, that was likely short-circuited by Grassley’s acknowledgement today that the Judicial Committee had formerly opened investigations into DOJ and FBI activities during the 2016 election. I expect we’ll find out more in the next few days.
I like Dan Bonginos podcast. There are a lot of details involved that Dan organizes very nicely. You can rewind or replay at will.

Incorrect. The LT’s need peons to process the unlawful directives or orders that would fall outside SOP into the system. The peons can smell a dead fish much easier in the bottom of the barrel because they are the bottom of the barrel and are the most proned to doing what the next level up says to keep paying their rent and keeping the lights on.
But, they are the most likely to be whistleblowers as well.
She needs to read Sheryl Atkinsons book to start..
That said - much better to put the pieces together again and do it right than try to deal with a 1000 bits and pieces over a longer time - can't wait to have the memo released.
I dont jump to conclusions and the truth is this thing has so far to go that we simply do not know if Sessions will come through. At this point, I’m willing to be patient and hope for the best. I am optimistic.
I'm ready!

I don’t trust Wray either.
900 FBI files on Republicans were FOUND in a room with a copier and staffed by Clinton political people. These raw data files surely kept many Rs quiet about Bills despicable and/or illegal activities. It was completely illegal for anyone to have had those files outside of a need-to-know person going to the FBI to read them. No one ever learned who had brought the files out. Any Republican whose files were not included knew that the Clintons would get their files if they ever wanted them, thus silencing many of them.
Can I put in my request for Carmel / Cheddar Cheese mix now?
