You can thank the show Shameless for the current push of this garbage.

“Theft is as bad of a sin as homosexuality, murder, coveting, etc.. No sin is “lesser” than another.”

False Protestant delusion; heresy.

The difference is we are not asking the church to celebrate OUR sin

It is compatible. If one recognizes the sin, repents, and asks Gods help going forward. Just like all of us sinners. What is not compatible is expecting God and other Christians to celebrate your unrepented sin.

Does the fact he’s homosexuality is listed as an abomination make a difference?

Amen. Rather than be corrected, they insist on pushing their real god—their sin—on others.

Second time I’m asking this question: does an abomination make it worse?

Mental illness and sin should never be endorsed. Sure, you can love a human; it is what we are told to do. Never, are we told to accept sin.

Right. But that’s not the point. If one rejects correction and chooses to remain in sin, they are to be shunned. Paul dealt very clearly with similar issues.

Excise “he’s” from that sentence.

I agree with what you posted, but I’m not sure how that makes my question “irrelevant”. On the contrary, it proves my point.

That is the issue. Sin is sin. Unrepentant homosexuals are no worse off than unrepentant adulterers.

That is a difference, but according to Hebrews 10:26, if we deliberately sin after knowing the truth, no sacrifice is left. Not trying to force the church to celebrate your sins won’t save you.

We all sin. However, most repent. The LGBTQ community doesn’t want to repent. No repentance, no forgiveness from Christ.

Matt 19:14 “For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Let the one who is able to receive this receive it.”

Really. Which sin does not lead to total separation from God and eternal punishment ?

The LGBTQ community doesn’t want to repent.

That's not entirely true. No doubt homosexuals and trans-whatevers have pushed their agenda with plenty of help from the left, as the left has pushed homosexuality as part of their agenda, but there are some who have repented.
