Just imagine ... if alcoholics had the same attitude about their disordered behavior as these people do, then AA wouldn’t even exist.
The difference to me is that I say when I’m sinning and I try not to sin anymore.
I don’t have a problem with a person that is LGBTQ that says it is a sin, but they are weak and need help.
Same with alcoholics. If they were saying it’s OK to drink a lot, I would have a problem with them. If they acknowledge they have a problem and need help, then it’s not an issue.
I acknowlege my own sins. I get angry easily. I’m very judgemental. I’m very materialistic. I can name many more. I feel very guilty for things I have done. However, I acknowledge they are wrong ask for forgiveness, and I try not to do them any more.
With morons in the Church subverting the message of Christ and preaching that “sin is okay, dude” is it any wonder why Church attendance is falling?! I mean, if there is ZERO difference from Leftist politics and the message of the Church, why bother?
How many Freepers are unrepentant? Some certainly but most people recognize that they don’t get to decide what sins are.
I don’t think anyone who is sinning should be shunned. In fact, I’m happy when they go to church, and I am always nice and kiND to them. I’d rather show live to them no matter what.
Irrelevant question. The number of sins we commit doesn't matter. One alone is enough to separate us from God.
In the Lord's eyes, sin is sin. Theft is as bad of a sin as homosexuality, murder, coveting, etc.. No sin is "lesser" than another. We are ALL sinners, there are no exceptions.
God has already demonstrated that He will add to scripture as needed, when we are ready for those revelations. Until He does so, I’m going with His current version, not with Obama’s suggested corrections to fix what Barack sees as God’s mistakes. Very clearly, God has forbidden homosexual conduct. He has also forbidden some things that I have done. The difference? I admit that I have been wrong, far too many times, and I try to do better for the future. I would never argue that God, or scripture, is the one in the wrong.

Yes, there should be amongst Christians a push back against the culture of divorce and sexual liberation, but that these have become lamentably tolerated in many cases doesn’t mean it is unreasonable to take a firm stand against others wanting to force license even further.

Exactly. Just because we sin doesn’t mean we should stand mute in the face of evil. Even sinners have the duty to support what’s right as an act of charity to others.
We don’t try to convince others our sins are something to celebrate and be proud of.
And they wonder why churches are dying.
That’s what they’re trying to do. What bothers me is the number of Christians who say nothing or who enable their campaign.
If they were truly Christians, they certainly wouldn’t celebrate their abomination, much less push for the Church to normalize it.
Plus, the Church not only welcomes sinners, but insists on it. Only by coming to the Cross is any one of us saved.

One cannot be in fellowship with God and walk the spiritual walk if one is in sin, i.e. missing the mark of His Plan.
It doesn’t matter if its homosexuality or driving 22mph everyday in a 20mph school zone. If a person places their soulish desires ahead of His Plan, they won’t grow spiritually through faith in Christ, because they aren’t in fellowship with God.
Opening sinning and forcing others to tolerate that sin is not a good way to get accepted. People are beyond sick of these degenerates. They need to get help for their problems and leave the rest of us alone.
Actually, the Bible doesnt teach sexual self control, nor any of the rest of the sexual baggage traditionally associated with Christianity. He made man and woman, filled them with sexual desire and instituted the sacrament of marriage to sanctify that union.
God created sexuality and consecrated it with the ultimate act of procreation. He also designed marriage so that man and woman could be partners in His creation and their children would be blessed by that union. Thus fruitfulness was always a blessing and barrenness a curse.
The left makes a mockery of Gods design and homosexuals are no more willing participants than most Christians. Separating sex from procreation makes it only one more hedonistic act that denies the very reason for its existence.

Yeah, very interesting that they didn’t mention any Islamic homosexuals. I know they’re some, because I’ve read that, but I guess whoever wrote this is more afraid of Islamic terrorism.
