In any criminal investigation where the suspect is not immediately known, the first question usually asked is who would have the most to gain? As we follow the bread crumbs of the text messages of Peter Strzok and Lisa Page and await release of the House Intelligence Committee’s memo regarding the collusion between the DNC, the Hillary Clinton campaign, the DOJ, and FBI to interfere with the 2016, ensure the election of Hillary, and the defeat or impeachment of Donald Trump, the answer to that question is clear -- one Barack Hussein Obama.
Can it be believed that as key players in the Obama administration like Strzok and Page, as well as FBI Director James Comey, Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, number 4 at Justice Bruce Ohr, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, and many others were linked in a vast criminal conspiracy to keep Hillary Clinton out of prison and Donald Trump out of the White House, that Barack Obama was blissfully unaware of all this? Rather, it can be plausibly argued that he was orchestrating it.
Perhaps not directly or by explicit orders, but rather by discussing the threat to his legacy Trump represented with his progressive minions and then simply saying, as crime bosses throughout history have done, “You know what needs to be done. Do it.”

Look at the pattern of Obama'e entire story and life. He's been propelled every where he's ever been by virtue signalling leftists. His entire resume and education was built on BS. He rarely showed up for anything, other people did the work and put his name on it.
He was born into a Clowns in America family and his path was laid out for him. All his missteps along the way, they were covered up for him.
Was he more than happy to have been the safe half black face to oversee his 8 years of the tearing down of America? Yes, more than happy. Does he get off on the idea of destroying the country. Not a doubt.

I think all pretty well know the city list a threat like this would cover. Most of those cities would be better off with an urban renewal project like they threaten.

That's quite straightforward: they want to emasculate the West. For millenia, the West has dominated the globe. We are by far and away the most aggressive and most successful race of humanoids on the planet.
The problem going forward, however, is the era of surplus is over. We crossed over peak resources years ago, while the environment has significantly degraded - conveniently shifted overseas - and we're on course for population overshoot.
So, as the resource wars really begin in earnest - and I'm not talking about the run-of-the-mill action taking place in MENA to ensure current oil production & delivery - who do you think will prevail? The West of course. However, what if certain regions that historically have had to settle for seconds are willing to use nuclear weapons as the conflicts escalate?
That's what the globalist objective is - or at least its original intent: to neutralize Western aggression and our technological edge. If they can mix & match races, and reduce our ability to project power, then the hope is that all of mankind can direct its energies (and resources) towards a technological solution to reach a higher intellectual level of peace & prosperity.
Of course, what's not really said, is that a tiny small self-appointed minority will lead these projects, while the newly enslaved vassals and serfs will labor to provide them material comforts. As as added benefit, if the future Eloi can lower the collective IQ of the new generation Morlocks, then the elite will have a much easier time managing the herds in a similar fashion to existing animal husbandry practices.
Fundamentally, a lot of smart FReepers should be in on this plan, especially if you're positioned to benefit from the demographic change. The problem I have aligning with the dark side is I believe a market solution can still produce the desired effects. If people have the ability to freely choose based on information available, then I think the right choices will be made.
The downside risk is that we collectively say 'fvck it, no one is taking my sh!t'. We have a history of not backing down, of going to the mats and exercising whatever violence is necessary to win. With nukes, that could be a big risk.

I have to propose another candidate for leader of the orchestra: Hildebeest... she benefits much more from a coup. Do any of us think that if the removal of Prez Trump had been successful that VP Pence would have gained the presidency?
