I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of times my cousin and I have been stopped coming back in from a fishing trip on the Gulf of Mexico over the past 20 years... Corpus Christi? How close to Mexico? If you are just going out, 1000 miles from Mexico, then I would not expect you to be stopped. If you had a bigger boat, then you might be more likely to be stopped. Likewise an old boat.
The whole point is realism. A wall is realistic border security. Tracking boats is realistic. Stopping suspicious boats is realistic. Giving some annesty in exchange for a wall is realistic. Not sure what kind of magic trick people would recommend instead to get about 10 million or so illegals to deport.

Creating nearly 2 million new and future Democratic voters, not to mention their millions of offspring, is not realistic.
