Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump is proposing giving 1.8 million young undocumented immigrants a pathway to citizenship in exchange for $25 billion for his long-promised wall and a host of other strict immigration cuts, according to a framework proposed Thursday. The outlines of the deal were described by a White House official for staff on Capitol Hill that CNN was given access to on Thursday afternoon. In what the White House official called a "dramatic concession," Trump would accept a path to citizenship for not just those originally eligible for DACA but for a broader population, adding up to 1.8 million people, the official said.

The end point is the same, we get overrun and they vote for Chavez. But Trump's plan is the kind of American greatness that will give the power back to middle America. Yes, there will be hispanic immigrants there too, but they might be happy enough to not vote or not vote for Chavez. This is all a huge gamble but the other alternative is to keep the border open and let the illegal problem get worse.
Heck, with that “chain migration”, that seems to be already bringing in a lot of potential immigrants, our immigration system has been the pits big time for decades, that diversity system and so on.
Don’t get me wrong, as a rule and as a Christian too, I like and love all people, but this immigration system is bringing our country to its knees.
You can chose how to interpret the law either. Time for them to go.
I don't understand why so many people here are so stupid.
Trump is basically saying "I'll give you DACA" in exchange for the complete transformation of our current immigration policies plus the wall.
The Democrats will most probably refuse it, but even if they were stupid enough to accept the deal, it would mean the end to mass immigration, and certainly the deportation of the more than 40 million illegals who otherwise run free around the country.
Boy, the media is throwing a lot of spaghetti at the wall tonight. Wonder why?

My point or rather question,
Does chain migration already bring in a lot of Rat voters every year? Where does it even out then with the 1.8 million dreamers plus family members? I’m just saying, maybe this chain migration is already a big losing deal for us.
My worry is that just as President Trump is undoing Obama’s policies, the next Democrat President will undo Trump’s policies. The Border Wall could go the way of the Berlin Wall.
I heard recently the chain migration is the driving force of immigration now -- over 70%. What's worse, it gives the immigrant -- not the USA! -- the decision over who comes into the country.
It is an outrageously ill-conceived policy, and a security threat to boot.

of Trump ever saying he was going to give 1.8 million illegals amnesty.
He never said it on the campaign trail. He never mentioned it in speeches.
1.8 million given amnesty vs 700,000 DACA’s given amnesty is a big
difference.
