Thank you - as far as I know, the day of surgery is still today and not Friday as Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in the briefing.. Unless I hear from her Mom, I’ll go with today but I’m sure I won’t hear from her for several days as their plate is pretty full...and those prayers are surely needed.

BTW, thank you for mentioning the surgeons. Modern medicine saved my life, more than once. Therefore, I always express gratitude first, not to a Divine Being, but to the researchers, scientists, thinkers, and doctors and nurses who made our advances in medicine possible!

Thank you. Curious why it was changed from today but anything could have made that happen, I guess. They are ever so grateful to everyone and have been since they put out the word nearly two weeks ago now.

“”Well I must tell you what has happened. Sophia’s surgery is in eight days and about a week ago I asked if she wanted anything for the trip to Boston. She said she wanted me to get the entire world to pray for her on the day of the surgery. I started making calls, sending emails, and it is starting to happen!!
Our congressman Jodey Arrington went on tv to tell her he is praying! He sent her the most beautiful private video last night that made me cry. This man is a worthy leader in politics as he is a sincere man of God.

We created a Facebook page and Twitter account, I never thought THAT would happen, but it is actually working to spread her request.
She was so scared two weeks ago, whispering to everyone that she didn’t want to go to Boston, she didn’t want the brain surgery, but now she is so confident about the surgery because of the outpouring of prayers.
Can you spread her request to FReepers and ask them to spread the link? I updated her website and added it there at www.ninjakittensophia.com
I reached out to everyone from our local paper to Prime Ministers from Israel, Japan, Australia, New Zealand (to name a few), archbishops and bishop office around the US, her favorite Christian band Needtobreathe, and some actors. Kevin Sorbo replied to me and posted her request on his Facebook and Twitter feed! After he did that she started getting hundreds of personal prayers! I’m still a little lost on Facebook sharing/liking postings but my husband tells me her story has been shared thousands of times.
For weeks we have been approaching strangers asking them to pray for her,but for the first time I see a really great reason for our family to be on social media!!
I told my husband, we are going to arrive in Boston and the surgeon is going to probably say “Geez, nothing like a little pressure from the world watching!”

When was the last time you recall a WH Press briefing starting off with a mention for prayers to GOD, for a child facing such a fragile surgery....or, for ANYONE?
Prayers up for this blessed child, Sophia. May the angels in Heaven guide and direct all that come into her care/recovery path.

UPDATE JANUARY 23, 2018
Sophia’s surgery has been moved to Friday January 26th! It was postponed due to more urgent cases taking priority in the scheduling.
Sophia says she is okay with the postponement as it gives her more time to try different Boston pizzas!
We will meet the team at Boston Children’s Hospital this afternoon.
We arrived in Boston yesterday! Sophia loved her plane ride and thinks that Boston is such a great city but was a little sad to see no snow to play in.
Please continue to pray and spread the prayer request! Everyone has been so great in helping this reach around the globe! Thank you again from our family!

When Trump chose our native son, Mike Pence as his running mate, we discovered he was using the same verse to end his speeches
Then it was marked in the Reagan Bible at the inauguration
We are keeping the verse to open our service and remind us each week Sort of figures it was a “God Thing”!

Super.....thanks. That explains the change in dates then.
I’m not going to wish for snow for Sophia as it probably wouldn’t quit and that wouldn’t be good. I’m really glad there weren’t any hurdles that made that change necessary.
