Being an Eagles fan, I’ll be watching. Some of the Eagles players did moron stuff and one of them is paying the way for a convicted murderer who got out of the Joint after serving 30 years. Another player has donated every game check this season to some cause. It’s their money. I will be watching and hoping for revenge for the Patriots’ February 2005 victory attained via field goal with not much time left. It may even have been a walk-off. Hopefully the ghosts of Andy Reid and Donovan McNabb have been exorcised.

That game was still watched by fewer people than the comparable early championship game from last year. The trend is not nfl's friend.

Two years ago I realized the NFL held no appeal for me and I quit watching. I am not boycotting. That implies I may watch again.
If it is on in a restaurant, I don’t leave, but I don’t watch.
I am with family that day. They will probably have it on. I don’t care.
When I did care, I spent thousands. At one point I managed two sets of four tickets, with Club Passes and Brunch at the Stadium. Thousands. Not any more. It is of no interest to me.
