I was a Green Bay Packer fan for 60-years, but I wouldn’t watch it if they were playing in it.

The NFL is dead to me.

One of my favorite pastors is Miles McPherson, former SD Charger, current leader of The Rock Church, and he is black. He claims the NFL and the Chargers dropped him because of his growing Christianity. (As if we don't have enough other reasons to blow the nfl out of our azzes!)

Not so surprisingly as a result of his forgiving Christianity, he still loves the NFL. And since he is critical of anti-black racism, he probably supports the kneelers, too.

But Miles places God above all things, and he is willing to die for Christ. How do I know? He killed his own lucrative nfl career for Christ. This makes Miles an obedient Christian.

My pastor mentioned in my earlier post is as courageous as Pastor Miles. And even though I hold the nfl in contempt against the preferences of these two great pastors, I trust them both when it comes to leading me and others to Christ.

It’s not just Carson, much of the team are serious Christians. It would be great for the most Christian team to win, especially now. I do not want to watch it, but will pray for the best team to win!

If you are so silly as to discuss the outcome of the Super Bowl with “your neighbor” at church, that rather undermines the reverence of a serious Sunday worship and study of God’s Word. But that’s what some people want.

If I want to be hip and have lots of fun, I’ll look you up the Rock Church..

Some megachurches like to have their congregants acknowledge one another during service for a brief moment during transitions. We already greeted each other earlier in the service between worship songs, and the suffer bowels question came later as a further ice-breaker before the sermon.

Thankfully, the women and men around me agreed with you and me that the nfl is a joke. Which bodes well for my chosen church.
