While I’ve long agreed with the above position I disagree with a broad brush painting of all the origins of the DACA recipients as a monolithic place totally bereft of any opportunity.
Selling the mushy middle will be hardest and Donald understands (we got more or less culturally American kids who are being put under the sword of Damocles), but Donald shrewdly insists on getting a quid for the quo. America needs to be able to get this to stop before it can afford to give the nod to those who came.
