GOPJ: Your estimation per head for the Pelosi Schumer-Shutdown Victory Dinner is spot-on.
On his radio program this morning, Chris Plante read off the Acqua menu:
glass wine $30-32;
appetizer $28 (appx)
entrees start at $32 (the steak entree is $58)
Actually $58 for a steak is not that bad a price.
Go to any top restaurant in the world......the prices are much much higher.
In Japan, it costs about $200 to buy a steak in a supermarket.
I wouldn't doubt it.
I was just making a rough guess based on this AQUA AL 2 menu where a veal porterhouse is $38.

Whether the final bill was $20K or $30K the point is that the DC politicians expect to live royally and they do.
Piglosi took time out from lambasting the president about tax cuts for the rich so she could dump half a years salary for many wage earners on one dinner party.
No wonder she called a $1,000 tax cut for us poor souls a crumb!
