It is tragic that she has been brutally raped, of course.
That being said, she was dumb enough to trust a man she barely knew - any woman who goes to Haiti should be prepared for this kind of treatment. Very sad...

I was stationed at Scott AFB back in the 50’s. To travel to St. Louis one had to go through ESL and across the bridge into SL. Most of us had a 1911 hidden under a newspaper lying on the front seat.(no bucket seats then) There was a ship moored under that bridge, I remember.
The worst part is she did not learn anything from it.
The reality appears to be that she's trying to establish that she's capable of getting male attention on at least some terms.

She had faith in her radicalized opinion and wishful thinking and paid the price.
This woman and her ilk can never be helped. She is doomed to lead a miserable life and was so doomed even before she was raped. The huge political task and necessity is that she and her ilk should never be allowed to formulate American policy. Elections are critically important.
She did learn - to intensify her hatred for white men. Haiti is the second independent country in the Western Hemisphere (1804), so it has had the LEAST influence of “white patriarchy blah blah blah”. She was received the Africa treatment, not the white treatment - and still blames us.
