LEAKED MEMO: DREAMers Are ‘Critical’ To Dems ‘Future Electoral Success’

The Center For American Progress (CAP) Action Fund circulated a memo on Monday calling illegal immigrants brought here at a young age — so-called “Dreamers” — a “critical component of the Democratic Party’s future electoral success.”
The memo, co-authored by former Clinton communications director Jennifer Palmieri, was sent around to allies calling on Democrats to “refuse to offer any votes for Republican spending bills that do not offer a fix for Dreamers and instead appropriate funds to deport them.”
President Donald Trump’s administration moved to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy in September, which former President Barack Obama instituted through executive order to keep immigrants who came here as children from being deported.
Trump called on Congress to find a legislative fix for young immigrants, or “Dreamers,” facing deportation. House lawmakers recently put forward a bipartisan DACA compromise bill that also claims to address worries over chain migration. However, it’s unclear if the bill will pass.
CAP Action’s memo says protecting DACA is not only a “moral imperative” for Democrats, it also key to getting votes.
“The fight to protect Dreamers is not only a moral imperative, it is also a critical component of the Democratic Party’s future electoral success,” reads Palmieri’s memo, obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation.

I would guess that at least 60% of Republicans have exactly the same views on immigration as most Democrats. Paul Ryan is probably closer to Nancy Pelosi on the issue than he is to Trump (and even the President seems to be much too willing to compromise on the issue).

Gosh, I thought the Democrats wanted to dismantle the Electoral College.
The peoblem is to many whites now support amnesty and are willing to sell the country down the river. Trump is willing to give amnesty in return fo his wall. He doesnt realize amnesty will ensure a permanent Democrat majority, with or without his wall.

that will not defeat their strategy but would play into it. It will allow them to show they are fighting and to brand Trump as a mean bully. They will find some kid that appears nice and give a sob story about how his deportation ruined his life.
Instead, get a compromise that doesn’t really give the dreamers what they want. Something like this:
- Build the wall
- End Chain Migration (and birth citizenship if possible)
- No welfare or citizenship for dreamers
- if they commit a felony they will be deported
- They can stay in the US as legal residents and not worry about deportation if they don’t commit felonies or take welfare.
^that is how you defeat their strategy. It basically gives us everything we want. And accepts the status quo that they are here.
Perhaps Jen with your big heart, you can find them a Home in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, or Austria if you can't get them in here. Oh, wait, they have really strict immigration laws, you can't !
Perhaps the DNC needs to go global and start parties in the countries I mentioned. NOT!
By the time the negotiations are done, the "wall" will come down to no more than some additional stretches of border fence.
Worse still, allowing the "Dreamer" anchor babies to stay sets the same precedent that all previous amnesties to illegals set. The loud and clear message to invaders is "come one, come all, and if you and your kids just squat here long enough, we'll make you legal." It's like ringing a taco truck dinner bell.

Congress previously voted down “dream” acts, Obama too illegal action, now Trump is set to reverse. Since Dems won’t play ball, they lose, we win. Come end of March Trump needs to announce that illegal alien children, just like their parents are here illegally and need to leave. Offer compassion, saying orderly departure and resettlement assistance might be in order but depart they must. Waivers expire and won’t be renewed. Let’s get eVerify in place and deport the most vocal first, criminals next, then everyone else through as much self-deportation as possible—no jobs, no benefits, starved out of the US.
We need to find ways to make life inhospitable for illegals in the US.
One major way is to go after employers, with fines and imprisonment.
Another way is to deny federally-paid/subsidized wefare benefits for illegals (and hold local officials responsible for checking eligibility, with fraud prosecutions of the officials who allow ineligible people to get benefits)
Use asset forfeiture on illegals.
Rig things so that regular people have standing to sue employers who hire illegals in preference to citizens.
If hiring illegals can be covered under RICO, then private citizens can go after employers under civil RICO, I think...(don’t quote me)
I’d use asset forfeiture for the employers. Dry up the $$$, the illegals go away.
For the welfare things and hospital emergency rooms, go with biometric tagging of recipients, tell them they will be instantly checked for outstanding criminal warrants and La Migra will be instantly called.

The leaked memo won’t matter one iota. Rat voters are so stupid, self-hating and cucked that they’ll continue electing more Rats, even it means their own demise. They love death.
Yes and Trump has brilliantly maneuvered them into a corner.
They must get DACA at all costs and Trump is going to make them pay a heavy price.
Ending chain migration, securing the border, no general amnesty and E-Verify will have a much more consequential electoral long term effect then 800K dreamers ever will.
Who needs a leaked memo to tell you the obvious. The Dems need welfare recipients for votes, people who rely on and demand BIG government.
I would think they are accomplices and are as guilty as any human trafficker. Lock them up or deport them along with the illegals.
